  1. He did play well but the players are not current allowed to mingle(none of the staff are )off the pitch. Think you are looking far too deep into the players talking or indeed having a laugh together . Who knows he could have been tapping up Berkeley
  2. I didn’t say he was done what I said is I don’t see that super acceleration any more. In truth at 33 it’s not surprising.
  3. Chelsea fan very much in peace here. I can fully understand some of the comments on here and in truth at half time we should have been dead and buried. Thankfully for us we weren’t. I really have enjoyed watching you lot for a few years but what’s abundantly clear once you get deep into your squad the strength no where near matches the quality in depth of many of the other clubs challenging for CL places. For instance Wes Morgan. Been a great servant for you, I actually saw him play for Notts Forest against Weymouth in the FA cup in 2005. To have him anywhere near the fist team at age 36 surely is an issue. Vardy to me has been an absolute diamond for you but a shit for every one else. He is fast approaching the end of career again been a great servant but the hard thing is saying thanks but your time is done. His movement is still there but that super acceleration is not there anymore. As for Chilwell I understand the anger but professional players don’t love the club in the same way as the supporters they very much are focused on far different things. In closing you should have buried us in the first half but once half time came an the ability to change 3 players then it was always going to be different. As an aside was the gusting wind the issue I thought it was ? Be safe especially if what they are saying about the virus in Leicester is correct.
  4. The irony of your comment is that the EU claimed that Article 50 was written in such a way as to make it “easy “for any country to leave without being held hostage by the EU itself hence why the two year time scale. Add to that the withdraw agreement negotiated in line with Article 50 and in accordance with other EU articles only required a simple majority of the remaining 27 states yet that’s not how they have approached negotiations.
  5. Sorry but this is simplistic. Leaving would have been easy if politicians had honoured the manifesto promises the majority of them got elected on their failures and their playing political games significantly undermined the UKs negotiating position there’s where the difficulty is. Without the UKs net contributions the whole financial structure of the EU comes under significant pressure as it would if France and Germany withdrew but to dismiss the importance of the UK suits your take but it’s simply not the case. There is no way that significant budget cuts leading to a massive curtailment of the EU funding of projects wouldn’t have to follow the UKs withdraw that is unless the 6 or so other nett contributors increased their payments and that seems unlikely.
  6. Saying they have voted on different versions of Brexit is simply not the case MPs voted on and agreed to hold a referendum, they then voted on and agreed legislation to invoke Article 50, they then voted on and agreed the EU withdraw legislation so in effect the only thing they need to ask in any referendum is do we enter the transitional period following withdraw with a no deal or TM deal or BJs deal ( if he gets one.)
  7. Agree with most of this. The timing of this fixture, home advantage to Leicester ,the events on the field in Barcelona mid week and indeed the supposed issues at Chelsea all were meant to be n the favour of the home team. Let’s be under no illusion this was a massive opportunity for Leicester to at least get to a semi final and that opportunity has been missed. Once this game went into extra time then those extra 90 minutes played in midweek should really have been the telling point and yet it wasn’t. Alonso clearly was tiring his socks were below the shin pads his energy levels enabled RM to come more into the game but elsewhere it wasn’t so obvious and it should have been. Once Chelsea scored their second all the tricks came into play they in effect ran down the clock and for all the huffing and puffing the game had gone.A phrase that pundits now love to use is game management and that’s what we witnessed.
  8. Prior to the game people were talking about how Chelsea playing in midweek would be a negative for them and of course it was going to be a factor not just physically but also mentally Bar the goal Vardy did little or nothing . Chelsea’s keeper squeezed up and the space was gone. Were Chelsea on the ropes not really what they were was tired. Leicester weren’t the better team for me there probably wasn’t a lot in it but when you go into extra time mistakes come about through mental tiredness as much as physical tiredness and in truth all Chelsea had to do was sit back in a shape and wait for the mistakes and guess what.
