The young Academy lads are technically miles in front of most players in this league BUT They are all relatively small and or weak so teams will suss this in no time. In open play we might be able to cope but at set pieces we would be sitting ducks. Maybe worth the risk though ?

I went into KP this week to sort out an issue and at the same time tell them what they could do with their season ticket renewal. The issue was resolved emphatically by the staff who I found out were all local Leicester people and it got me thinking. By not renewing how could my decision affect the livelihood of these people who deserve so much better ? Rightly or wrongly I have decided to renew to support these people and certainly not the charlatans who own or run our club. Sentimental nonsense really but it just felt like the right thing to do but I 100% understand why others have not renewed.

20 years and not one decent keeper has come through the Academy system. The best one in recent times is Teddy Sharman Lowe who the goalkeeping experts at the time ( one now unbelievably with the first team ) decided wasn’t good enough so we released him. He is at Chelsea and played for pretty much every England youth age group.
