  1. Mine seem to come and go. Currently all the match points are correct, but one of my sons is missing his 15 points for gold membership. I won#t really start to worry till the announce the Brighton sales dates. If it's not sorted by then I'll keep ringing!
  2. Mine didn't link up at first, and I couldn't see a way to set up new accounts for my kids. And then a few days later their names appeared on my new account anyway.
  3. My points on the website seem to vary from day to day, but are still incorrect. When I've rung they say that their system shows 31 points - which tallies with my calculation - but that's not showing on the website. And presumably unless it's on the website, it can't be used to buy tickets. I just keep being told it'll be sorted soon... One problem I foresee is that people like me, likely to be in the priority top level, will make sure they buy tickets for every game to keep the points tally up. We go to all the games anyway, but if there was a rare occasion when we couldn't go, I'd still try and get tickets then give them to friends. Presumably if everyone does this, then towards the end of the season there would be far more people in the top priority level, making it a big bunfight to get tickets! Unless of course we're in the relegation zone...
  4. There's a deadline after which points won't be carried forward if you buy membership. End of August I think, but worth checking. After that time you can buy membership but you won't carry over any points.
  5. it's really frustrating isn't it. I've got an awful feeling the tickets will go on sale and we won;'t be able to log on, and won't have the correct number of points displayed!
  6. I've just called again. Apparently it's not finished, points haven't been put on yet. I am assured that points will be added in time to buy tickets when the dates are announced.....
  7. I'm wondering if it's still not finished. I rang and was told a few days ago that I'd have 31 points (15 for last year's gold membership, and 16 for matches attended), but my website is only showing 15. My away points - not sure what that means, as the only away game I went to was the charity shield - is showing 42 points!
  8. I assumed that a certain number of tickets would be allocated to international members, and those would be taken in that ballot regardless of what happened with the rest of the tickets. I guess they need to buy way in advance if they've got to arrange travel and time off work etc. It would be unfair though if they had the pick of all the best seats, way before UK members, especially those with supposed high points priority
  9. Thanks. I'll check later in the week.
  10. Also, where do you see your points? All I can see is my address etc, what my marketing preferences are, nothing that says my points tally
  11. I managed to link mine up to me, but not my 2 kids. How did you do it?
  12. The membership sales were due to open again tomorrow after being closed for a few days, but it's been postponed pending further announcements. I wonder why that would be.
  13. If tickets are won in the ballot but can't find seats available together .
  14. I'm not sure how this will work with kids, who aren't actually allowed to sit apart from their parent, according to club rules.
  15. I'll be in a similar position, with one of my sons being one point below me and and my other son. They're both young so we all have to sit together. I guess it depends if the priority window is staggered, and what the cut offs are. Even with a one point difference, we may end up in the same "category"
  16. Just be aware that there is a time limit if you want to carry over your points. If you get your membership after that date (some time in August I think), you can be a member but you'll have zero points.
  17. I'm not familiar with points - do they accumulate during the season - so you could start the season with 20, and then a few months in you could have 27, for example? Or is it all added up at the end?
  18. I bought membership for me and the kids today, and when I asked about the points I was told that would all be sorted in a few weeks, in time for the first ticket sales. This worries me - I've got a feeling we'll all get told the points we've got, and they'll be nothing like what we think we've got!
  19. I noticed the same, but when I rang the ticket office my missing games were visible on their system after all, so hopefully the points will still be generated
  20. I'm still confused! So, say me and one of my kids have 30 points each, but one of the kids only has 29 (missed a game) - does that mean we can't go as a group? Or we can go as a group, but will all have to downgrade our points to 29?
  21. I have 2 under-18s too, and I was going to buy membership over the phone, so I can explain and clarify what I need to do. My kids are young so can't sit on their own, so our membership really has to be as a group.
  22. I'm a gold member so that's 15 points, and I'm pretty sure I only missed 2 games last season. But that's another problem - I rang for some info just now, and apparently the points for the 16/17 season won't show until July, but you can buy your membership before then. Supposedly the points then get added on to your account when they're available....we hope!!
  23. I was wondering what the points cut-offs would be. Where did this information come from? I have 32 points so I'm hoping I'll be OK.
