  1. Really! that would be great news. Just need to get the mandatory jabs for health workers quashed.
  2. Got to be looking for a minimum of 50 if not more.
  3. If there was a straw poll on here. I’m exclusively wrong 🤦🏼‍♂️ But, in light of the Downing street shenanigans, I’m pretty sure I read somewhere today that a scientist was quoted as saying restrictions during Alpha may have been to tougher than were needed. So who knows.
  4. You can’t compare the Indian sub Continent and Brazil with Europe. Or more specifically the UK.
  5. Can’t really compare any of those Countries with Europe.
  6. You have a good memory I’ll give you that 👍🏼
  7. I had 2 AZ’s but not having a booster. As I said, I don’t believe restrictions lessen cases.
  8. I did chuckle at this 😄
  9. 🤔 You’ve got me there. Do please explain.
  10. The only logic I’m personally interested in. Is that last January delta cases peaked with restrictions in place. This January the more transmissible omicron peaked with virtually no restrictions. My conclusion therefore is restrictions make little to no difference.
  11. So are you saying the Delta wave cases didn’t peak last January when restrictions were in place?
  12. Yep. Just look at the duration of draconian restrictions in France. Yet yesterday I think it was, they recorded over 300k new infections.
  13. Cases falling faster than Autumn leaves. And all without a lockdown and/or closing hospitality.
  14. This won't go away.. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/01/11/scientists-believed-covid-leaked-wuhan-lab-feared-debate-could/?li_source=LI&li_medium=liftigniter-rhr
  15. My Constituency, Melton and Rutland has been Conservative since the 17th century, Joking. But if memory serves correct it was formed in 1983 and has been safe Tory ever since.
  16. Well I’m not a socialist for starters. At the time it was choice between Johnson and Corbyn!
  17. As much as he has let us down with his lies and double standards. I certainly don’t condone that. For me, his government would still be preferable to a labour one. Personally I hope he’ll be replaced before we vote again.
  18. Wonder if there is anything in this! Does seem strange all these leaks, now.
  19. Ah just remembered. Well yes, a Crystal ball would be preferable to Sage modelling!
  20. Who is it?
  21. Wee Nippy Sturgeon is trying to outdo fellow commie Jacinda Ardern now. Scots will soon be required to have their booster added to their vaccine passports, which may then be extended to pubs. This madness is unlikely to ever end.
  22. Mystic Meg ?
  23. So professor Medley government chief modeller now concedes the omicron wave is not as bad as first thought. Well well, no surprise there then. Of course some of us who are able to apply a bit of common sense, knew that would be the case.
  24. What does Johnson have to do for his party to put in a vote of no confidence.
  25. Just get the bledy Johnsons out of NO10. And whilst they’re at it, Patel and Gove also.
