Before the season started, I was talking to my Forest supporting mate at work. His summary of Cooper's time at Forest was - Tactically very poor. You won't know what system or formation he's using and the players will look confused about what they are supposed to do for most of the match. He'll sign a load of players and then won't play them. He'll freeze out fans favourites and he'll make decent players look poor. He'll have his favourites who he will almost always play, regardless of how poor their form is. But, you'll be fighting to the end of every game and come away with results that you have no idea how you get. Up to now, absolutely spot on. And now, after Nuno has replaced Cooper? They look a far better team, well drilled, playing to players strengths (look how Wood is doing this season in a system that actually suits him) and the difference with a tactically intelligent manager is night and day.

Quite. Let's see if we're still on target for a point a match by the end of December.

It's a carbon copy of Forest's first season under him. Look absolutely dreadful but somehow just do enough. He might keep us up, and I hope he does, but we've got to say thank you and goodbye and get a proper manager in to kick on. I can't stand watching this every week. It's so bad.

I was at that match and they kept putting Dim Tim's gormless face on the big screens, to big cheers from the crowd every time. If only they knew what was coming.

Very good looking starting 11 but just like Forest the other week, hardly anything on the bench to bring on and change a game, with the possible exception of Bilal. We need to be winning this before we run out of steam.

He may well have made the decision to before the disaster. The issue we have now is we have a board who don't know what they're doing and it's too easy to pull the wool over their eyes and baffle them with bullshit. Rodgers got away with it for ages. And Cooper talks a good game, he just rarely delivers one. So if he's telling them what they want to hear, he won't be going anywhere soon.
