Heard a bit of Talksport last night. They had the former financial advisor to Man City in the studio (there's a man who earned his corn - 115 charges or whatever it is???) He was basically saying that PL clubs are now really panicking after Everton got deducted the ten points - and he seriously doubts their appeal will be successful. He also said Chelsea are heading for a world of pain after all the money they've spunked under the new owners. Clubs basically treated FFP as a joke until Everton got the points deduction and they are all now seriously looking at their finances and making sure they are compliant.

Along with 99% of the rest of us, I don't know what's gone wrong here and who (if anyone) is to blame, so I won't start to throw mud around. But what is worrying is what effect this might have on us trying to sign new players now. Are they going to look at us and think, this club don't seem to know what they're doing, so I'm not going there.

No matter how good we are, how better our players are than the oppo and how many chances we create, a one nil lead just isn't enough to not cause stress and palpitations whenever the opposition run at our goal. We really should be putting games like this to bed by half time and then then players and fans can just enjoy the second half and not be stressed out to feck for the next 45.
