  1. Well that was a fast sweep delete!
  2. We missed our top targets in the summer because they looked at us and Cooper as manager and went, errrr no, you're alright. If they looked at us now with our new shexxxxxxy manager (if it happens), we're much more of a draw for better players. Suddenly rather excited at the prospect of RVN and the calibre of players he could attract. GERRIMIN.
  3. As long as he brings Casper with him and his haaaaaaaaaaaaair iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiislaaaaaaaaaaaand!!!!
  4. RVN with Martin Keown as DOF. Make it happen.
  5. Another part of City's history passes on. Loved listening to Nev and John Sinclair on commentary. I have a video of my daughter who was a baby at the time playing with her Christmas toys and in the background, you can hear Nev commentating on an away game. It's priceless. My daughter is 30 next year... My favourite Nev moment was after we got beat by Everton and he asks Mark Mcghee if he was dissapointed with the goals conceded. No Nev, I was delighted with them, was the reply. Still makes me chuckle now thinking about it. Rest well Nev.
  6. Top's finally put his big boy trousers on.
  7. I'd like to see this potential January recruiment list that people are allegedly spitting blood about. I mean, how bad can the recruitment actually get.
  8. The difference is, our expectations have moved up a notch now from theirs. Cooper did the impossible by making them a semi relevant club for the first time in decades. They were more than happy to stink the PL out and just make up the numbers while singing away to Mull of Kintyre and lauding it up in their 'Main' stand that looks like our old East stand after an earthquake. We're looking for higher targets than that these days.
  9. Remember Steve Walsh and Garry Parker?
  10. As people have said, seems a decent bloke but levels out of his depth. It was never going to work and seemed like a panic appointment after Potter said no at the last minute. Wish him well whenever he ends up, probably mid table championship and I'm not sure even that's his level. Who next? Potter, RVN or Moyes probably. Would take a punt on Benitez as well. An organiser is desperately what need.
  11. Did Cooper just shake his head when the pen was given there????
  12. Looks like that set piece coach was a great appointment.
  13. Apart from that five minutes spell, they look like a team already relegated. Poor body language, not enjoying the game, silly bookings, just look like they want the game to be over. We simply have to replace Cooper to stand any chance this season.
  14. Another yellow.
  15. That tackle was the most entertaining thing we've done all match.
  16. Imagine being Jamie Vardy. All the things he's done for us over the years. From being one of the most dangerous, feared and respected strikers in the PL to just aimlessly wandering around on his own waiting for someone to pump the ball at him and watching a defender take it away. It's shocking how he's being treated. I bet he wishes he had retired last season and finished with another medal and title memories.
  17. Wilf is going off
  18. "Leicester are playing like they're down to ten men with ten minutes remaining" More like five men
  19. It's getting better and better.
  20. A day and a game like today makes me not sorry I gave up my season ticket. I'll be tuning in on a moody stream but we all know what's coming and the thought of sitting there freezing and wet watching what's about to be served up makes me shudder. Hats off to everyone who will be at the match but I'm not missing it one bit at the moment, and I've been going down to watch them since Brian Little was in charge. At least 4 0 loss today.
  21. You know what that was like? It was like when a manager gets the sack and an interim manager is put in charge who is out of his depth. He knows it. The players know it. They just go through the motions waiting for the next manager to be appointed. That's us.
  22. Have we just played our good half or our shite half? Difficult to tell. If that was our good half, this is going to be a massacre.
  23. That's the killer
  24. We were 2 1 up against Everton and then won a penalty that Maddison insisted on taking - and missed. If that had gone in there's a good chance that would have been three points instead of one. The draw at Newcastle could easily have been a win as well but for that world class save from Castagne's shot right at the end. On such fine margins are relegations avoided or confirmed.
