Good grief, I've read some bizarre stuff but this is right up there. Chelsea had one player who cost more than our entire team yesterday. They've got an elite coach and some superb players and, until the sending off, we really gave them a game. We were on top at 2-2 until Doyle went off and we were still in it until the end. Yes, we had to defend heavily and that's what cost us in the end - mentally and physically tired and Chelsea stepped up at the right time. But to say 'we decided to cling on instead of going for it' is beyond ridiculous. Look at Leeds supporters - arrongant, confident, think they're going to win the league and that spills down to the players on the pitch. Look at a good chunk of our 'supporters' - cry when we lose a couple of games, throw the towel in and then call the PLAYERS bottle jobs. 'We messed up top four so that means we're going to lose to Cov in the playoffs'. Words fail me.

Could also do with a couple of lads watching out of the windows in the nurses flats with some pissed off nurses sitting on the sofa with their arms crossed (I may have had some experience of this....) -

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Groby_Blue replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Lived and worked in Nottingham for over ten years and yes, they are a breed apart from your common or garden football supporter. Deluded, superior and have a blind refusal to see anything other than when they had that brief period under Clough when they massively punched above their weight. And I don't think I ever met a F***t fan that didn't claim to be at those European finals. There must have been over 250k in those stadiums... -
I remember when Nigel came back for his second stint and it was being discussed on the Monday night moan in. Stringer said, there's no doubt Nigel is a class act - on the pitch. It's stuff like that that turned so many people against him. Although to be fair I remember Neville Foulger interviewing McGhee after we lost to Everton and Nev said, were you disappointed with the goals conceded today Mark? and McGhee goes, no Neville, I was delighted with them....
-
Couldn't stand listening to the commentary when Stringer was doing it. He came across as a smug, arrogant know it all. I've never met the bloke and he might be sound as a pound (heard a few things that suggest the opposite though) but the RL commentary is now 100 times better since he's been gone.

Wow, good job this ref is doggo!!!
-
I knew you were going to say that.
-
Should have been game over by half time.
-
It's because the commentary has stopped. It's confused the players.

Vardy getting dogs abuse from the mackems. He does like a wind up.

I work with a Celtic fan who was absolutely fuming that BR left them to come to us. I remember him laughing on the Monday morning after this game, Can't even best bloody Watford, hahahaha. He's certainly not laughing anymore since BR went back ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?
Groby_Blue replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Are we bottlers? We'll see at the end of the season and which division we're in. There's still enough time to see this over the line. It needs focus, cool heads and no panic - and that applies just as much to the supporters as it does the team. Believe me, if we drop out of the autos and end up blowing the playoffs, I'll be as fuming as everyone else and I'll be throwing mud at everyone responsible but we're still top, we're still on for automatic promotion and we haven't bottled anything - yet. -
Right, stop fackin about and let's get this won.

Oh FFS.

We don't make things easy do we???!

And drawing

Praet off. Yunus on.

Phew. We need to take advantage of that now. Wonder what Pubbreath's excuse for that will be. Probably because Brian Deane got injured away at Charlton in 1994...

Wasn't a card? Looked at the player and put his elbow in his face. Lucky it was only a second yellow.

QPR home pre-match thread, 3pm Saturday.
Groby_Blue replied to jayfox26's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can only think Leeds playing earlier than us is a good thing. Leeds win and it gives the lads the impetus to get the gap back to six points. Leeds draw or even better lose and it means an increased gap with a win. I know they're just going to want to go out and get the win regardless of what happens, but don't underestimate the psychological effects of our closest rivals playing before we do. -

Didn't we put 5 past these at the end of the great escape season? Joey Barton's last match as a player IIRC. -
No, but I'm not a cynic!
