  1. Fair enough. Probably not much further debate here. I will say you seem to give her the benefit of the doubt much more than you would Trump. Misguided but not racist could so easily be applied to those tweets he made. But you wont have that for a second
  2. @Carl the Llama It wouldnt let me repy to your post for some reason All those articles do not refute what I said at all! I actually watched videos of her saying those things, so I know the quotes , I heard and saw how she spoke, I heard the questions She doesnt positively dismiss the accusations. She skirts around them. Its what she does. Compare it to Trump who when pressed impatiently says again and again how much he despises racism. She can't actually bring herself to condemn Al Qaeda. Show me one quote. When asked to condemn the attack on the ICE facility none of The Squad condemned it. Because they condone it, it reflects their politics. AOC's comments in particular could be said to be responsible for that with much more credibility than linking Trump to far right groups - especially as CNN brough on a white nationalist the other day who said Trump is not furthering the cause of white nationalism! CNN ffs! Here is how Omar speaks about Al Qaeda. I used to buy the whole narrative to a degree of western intervention being to blame, but at the end of the day when the West takes in people and welcomes them and allows them to thrive and they dont appreciate the openness and benevolence of that, criticism of that is fine by me Im bored of being a Trump defending Trump-bot atm so will recede into the shadows for a bit. Here is a good article showing a narrative that obviously seems to have escaped many on here https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/07/the-trump-steamroller/ Tbh it doesnt matter what a few loons think anyway. Trump is sticking it to the PC crowd in a wonderfully effective way; he's buttressing the populace against the rampant progressive culture which most people detest, and he's getting s*** done. Smears are failing increasingly as are his political opponents. He's going for the tech companies who are censoring the online debate on the big platforms - this is in fact one of the biggest issues of the day which so many on here arent bothered about, because freedom of expression isnt as important as shouting 'RACIST!' all day every day
  3. In their defence: she is a rabid anti semite. Hates jews and has refused to apologise for anti semitic comments Refuses to condemn Al Qaeda and compares them to England and the US Refuses to condemn terrorist attacks Send her back Ps. Cherry on the cake: looking more and more likely it will soon be confirmed she married her brother. Jokes
  4. Lol case in point about the labelling i just mentioned Neved change Buce
  5. fair enough Occasionally this thread gets hard to keep it civil. Such a large proportion of the posts are just rants about how Trump is racist and anyone who likes him is racist. If someone defends him they get labelled. Its pretty poor stuff In fact i had no real thoughts on him until i read all that stuff and decided to have a look at what his supporters think to see why so many people would support a racist - turns out a lot of good people like him and people are mistaking racism for the reassertion of western values and thats about the long and short of it If people would actually take the time to listen to people they think they hate rather than listen to only one side it would be better.
  6. https://mobile.twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1151319630335492097 Oh dear. People with different opinions
  7. Meh, come back to me when there is some real evidence And its not whataboutery if I dont think Trump did it, ya plumbag Trump is great. Clintons are awful. Thats not whataboutery. Im just celebrating the fact that the right person won the election
  8. Kind of joking mate. Its a comment on those who say having a secure border is racist, thats all. Keep your knickers on
  9. Lol. You think the things you read are objective articles? Why was he investigating if he couldnt charge? What was the point of it all? Couldnt be to smear could it? Of course, we'd be better off with a Clinton in charge, not like they've ever done anything wrong
  10. And this is the problem with you lot, no sense of humour
  11. So, in a nutshell, no evidence of collusion There was also insufficient evidence of obstruction He won. Time for you to build a bridge, get over it, and observe America becoming great again
  12. A potential 2 places on the podium for marko
  13. This post is a fantastic contender for most unedifying anti-Trump post of the day. You guys are really outdoing yourselves
  14. https://summit.news/2019/07/17/poll-clear-majority-of-mexicans-say-migrants-should-be-deported-back-to-their-home-countries/ I guess Mexicans are racists too....
  15. Was just thinking that, not very Trump and usa
  16. And I guess decentralised food distribution would give scope for better quality Would still have to import if we want fruit and veg exotic to the UK for example? ; i suppose modern farming methods could allow us to grow some stuff here thats not native
  17. Agree it shouldnt be a political football for sure Im curious about a law to prevent food waste. Does anyone have such laws? How do they/would they work?
  18. Arent we doing most of those things? Alternative energy forms are being developer and used throughout the western world increasingly. Sure it would be nice if it went faster. Food waste is terrible, but if you hear stories from people who lived in say, Czech Republic, where I am at the moment, the centralisation of production did not serve people well. Whats the solution for food waste? Loads of stuff on that drawdown list looks basically good. Are we not doing a lot of that stuff to some extent? You seem dissatisfied with the pace of things to the point of wanting a sort of international green deal, which brings us back to authoritarianism. I feel like you look at that list and think 'why cant we do all this now and nothing else but this from now on' Its not as easy as that though is it?
  19. Lol https://mobile.twitter.com/jackposobiec/status/1151362013010026497?s=21
  20. But its not as though there is some grand solution that people are obstinately refusing to implement
  21. Ok, will decide the winner before midnight. Criteria will be lack of clarity of argument, lack of information backing argument, and lack of relevance to the post comment is in response too. Contestants will also be judged on variations on 'orange man' insults. Not sure yet if they should be rewarded for originality or lack there of in that regard
  22. We're in agreement on your first sentence. I dont think she does have to be doing it. The problém has been talked about a lot and the public are well aware, even if some are sceptical. Its hardly a sidelined debate. We have whole political parties dedicated to it!
  23. Its going to be a close competition today for the least edifying post from the anti-Trump crowd
  24. But she's not doing the work. What is "the work"? She's a poster child for a movement. She can do her speech and everyone can clap but its not a solution.
  25. If I believed like you and they believe I wouldnt leave it to a child to take that on her shoulders and let her skip school. It doesnt make any sense at all
