  1. TBF, I enjoyed the season in the championship under Maresca (mostly), winning loads, but I'm not so sure about next season down there.....
  2. I'm older than the average fan; I remember 42,000 crowds at Filbert Street, with an absolutely electric atmosphere. Sadly, those days have gone; sanitised, American style, 'family friendly' match days. I went to Grimsby Town with a mate recently; banging atmosphere, proper chanting, hard core fans. With a quarter of the crowd attendance! Woke niceness hasn't reached Blundell Park yet....
  3. Just been sat in a pub in Mansfield with loads of happy Forest fans celebrating.....very difficult
  4. I love Forest! Just when you're feeling a little bit down, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and cheer you right up! 😁
  5. I feel like I've just come out of a weird dream; in it, we won the premier league and the FA cup, and qualified for europe on league position alone! Now I've woken up and everything is back to normal; we get relegated, we get promoted, we get relegated.........it's strangely comforting....
  6. I wish him well. I hope he does as well as Drinkwater did at Chelsea.
  7. I don't get it. We strive all season to get 'into Europe', and then put a side out like that? What's the point? It's embarrassing....
  8. First match I went to was home to Man Utd in 1965. My dad took me, and we got beat 0-5. I've followed the city ever since, through thin and thin ( very thin at times!) Never thought I'd see a League Championship in my lifetime. So, in that sense, an FA cup AND 5th place, with entry into a European competition we COULD actually win, is absolute heaven! 4th place is not impossible, either! Come on Lestah!
  9. Hello city fans! I've been following the forum for ages, and finally joined! My dad took me to my first match at Filbert Street in 1965, and we got stuffed 5-0 by Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, etc., but hey ho, that kind of sh#t happens to us!
