Tbh, I was horrified with that performance on Tuesday and I totally expect better, but will we get it? I am not convinced, but whilst he is here he has my support, as there can be no change at this point, personnel or mentality. Sorry to be so laissez faire, but I cannot get wound up by him at present due to the reasons above.
-
No, Tuesday was dreadful, proper dreadful but I soon realised post pissing my pants that my unexpected anger achieved the square root of sod all, as it turned out Enzo was not listening to the sound of my sodden trousers and yet worse still, would not deign to wash my sodden pants. Not saying it is wrong to lose our shit, but if that’s all there is, then yes, it kinda is as it a self gratifying pity fest. edit sorry, seem to be in a bit of a mood today.

People need to stop seeing what they want to see as it really makes no difference if you have a massive cob on now or at the end of the season, so why not wait until we have facts to deal with and loose our shit then? (if required)
-
Don’t you think we would lose the pressing from the front element if Nacho starts? Maybe in a two, not such an isssue?
-
It’s an interesting quandary and makes me wonder who would be the ideal candidate. It’s easy to say Pearson as a builder, but is that that the type we need right now? This feels like a strange job against such uncertainty and restriction, someone to make us survive against the choppy times maybe.
-
Maybe but then how are we top with 5 games to go? Luck? All the work of the squad despite him? Not sure how to correlate the two points tbh..
-
Ok then
-
Feels like McAteer would be back in as he seems to have Enzo’s trust more than some others.
-
Agree with this, but there has been many discussion about why this could be the case, some of them relate to him being an inexperienced inflexible manager and there should no issues agreeing with this but balance and context would allow such discussions to feel less like a witch hunt for the bloke who has us first. We cannot know how these listed would perform, I fancy Enzo prefers a very small set of the players in his squad (just a guess) and is not comfortable or confident enough to get the rest incorporated. This is far from ideal, but he is very inexperienced, something some seem very keen to overlook.

People having the absolute cheek to moan about being upset by so called cheerleaders need to have a good look at the negativity vs positive bias in pretty much every thread. spoiler negativity far outweighs positivity.
-
Surprised we have any points.

All managers moan about the schedule, you really need to look harder for reasons.

Rush goalie too?

Like this?

Think this is not true to that extent, at least not by most anyway, but I can see where you are coming from, as when we were this far clear at the top, the hyperbole was always going to be bonkers over the top, just like it was in reverse after losing some games and the gap closing. Footballs fans do love a big fat chunk of hyperbole whatever flavour the chunk, that is for sure! Enzo is doomed by his style to some degree as he favours control first and foremost, the start of the season made this exceptionally difficult to argue with from a results perspective, but now we have slowed, look leggy and lost, just as others have picked up the competitive pace, closing the gap, the twitchiness is also understandable. It is easy to forget he is like a kid in management, no amount of Pep-ism buys him experience, so we need to tough out this end of season and pray he get us over the line, assisting in the only meaningful way we can

Think a lot of the issues with Enzo come from expectation, whatever they may be on an individual basis. After the problems of last season they were fairly low generally I think, but the rapid start, perhaps beyond expectations for some, on point for others, did little to temper expectations. We also should be careful not to reinflate the ratings of some of these players that contributed to our demise next season, as it is a group project. I am not trying to excuse his poor adaption to the tools available to him, these players are sufficient for this level, but I suspect his inexperience is limiting what he feels comfortable utilising, hence the lack of flexibility we are seeing. If this is to be a long term project then so be it (Puel, Rodgers, Enzo suggests it is), stick with it, give him the best tools we can to allow him to evolve this squad into a group suitable of carrying out his vision. Suspect he may walk come the end of the season though and I could not really blame him if the opaqueness of the board is found to be true.

You know how competitive sport works, right? It’s not at all like wrestling….
-
I obviously don’t rate the squad as highly as you, but too me the point about our lack of draws is an even greater concern, feels like a stronger mentality might have seen us claw back a few draws.
-
Plus they got their medicine in recent memory and it was a heavy dose, would expect them to be especially careful.
-
Mr Table?
-
Always makes me smile that some people can be so quick form opinions on some things, yet so slow to update their judgement on players.
-
So you expected to not lose 20% (or more) of our fixtures this season? Despite the utter horror show and it’s implications from last season?
-
Imminently preferably

Being so easily polarised is not healthy, but I am with @kingcarr21 on this. If I am wrong so be it, but I could not give a toss about that (What am I, 12?) Its the wellbeing of the club and its progressions I am most interested in, so others who have yet not seen their 15/16 can.
