I’m sick of sacking managers. The issues are above him. We’re in shit street. Keep Gary. I can’t be the only one.
I agree that the issues are above him.
But Rowett has shown zero tactical awareness and done absolutely nothing differently to try and change the results during matches.Rowett is not the answer for next season and neither is Martin.
2 wins from 14 is pathetic.
Relegating 2 sides in one season is some achievement.-

Karel Geraerts has left Reims.
He was linked with us a few weeks ago.
Any chance he could be coming to us? -
Stop pissing about and go get Challinor.

Just had a weird message from someone I know in the footy world, who is in regular contact with a well known footy journalist.
Says journo is suggesting we've already signed a manager . When I asked who:
"He doesn’t know. Said it’s someone out of work & been offered a fortune to come?"
The latter bit certainly sounds like us.
I suggested Southgate as a pretty much worst case option and journo has come back with 'wow what a good thought'. It is not, in fact, a good thought at all, so I think that shows he is a journalist.
I realise the above sounds like pretty bizarre bait but it's true, honest.
Pep??

Wouldn’t surprise me if we have spoken to a lot of managers.
It wouldn’t also surprise me that we’ve more than likely been turned down by a lot of managers. -
I want us to go all out for Challinor but if that doesn’t happen we should at the very least consider Paddy McCarthy.
Has worked with both U21 and U18 at Palace.
Been assistant at Palace for a few years under Glasner and Hodgson so you’d hope he’s learnt from both.

Welcome Phil Neville, Wasserman client
Let’s be positive.
At least it’s not his brother.

Will we actually learn from previous summer’s and actually get Challinor?
I think we won’t and it’ll be the same as missing out on Rohl and Corberan.
We’ll end up with someone like Will Still or Ryan Mason.-

Martin’s ego would never let him manage in league 1.
Hopefully he’ll end up at a championship club. -
Could see Southampton getting Steve Cooper.

Bingoregardless too people’s understandable frustration with radio silence from our Club, mine also included but what’s new, I’m hearing noises from Seagrave that McCarron is working tirelessly on our rebuild and is working around the clock sourcing the most suitable candidate possible for a “must bounce back” season that we require, along with all the other mess he has too sort out in recruitment, contracts, player analysis, academy etc etc
I’ve also heard he’s eager too address the fans but not until he’s found a manager too go with his vision which kind of makes sense if true, what’s he going too say without a manager yet?? “I’m delighted too be hear, it’s a challenge that excites, I want too help turn the ship” bla bla bla
From what I’m hearing about him I’m genuinely excited for what’s too come and Im open to having my heart broken again but that’s football right?
It’s gonna be very depressing when we announce Russell Martin as manager in a few weeks time.

Hard to judge a man who has only managed minnows like Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man City! How is he expected to win anything with them.
Same as Arteta.
Done a remarkable job winning the league with Set piece fc/Stoke and only spending a few hundred billion………-

Wouldn’t it be something if one of the journalists asked him if he was leaving because of the 115 charges or even had the balls to mention it in the press conference.
Somehow I doubt it. -
Watched the first episode of Ponies.
A good start.
Although I will watch anything with Emilia Clarke. -
I doubt that they are but they could be waiting to see who goes up from the league 1 play off final.
Either Challinor or Schumacher would imo be a decent appointment.

Forget Southampton and spying it’s much worse in France.
Toulouse finished their season at the weekend and have got rid of the manager Carles Martínez Novell and replaced him with the Motherwell manager.
All this happening within a few days.
Do Toulouse not realise you can’t be this proactive and you have to piss about over the summer to get a manager in?
I don’t think we have a chance of getting him but I’d like us to go for Novell.

Really? Toulouse manager??
He’s left Toulouse.
Extremely unlikely I know but we do seem to be supposedly looking abroad so maybe.

Carles Martinez Novell.

I could see us targeting the other 2.
We’ve got no chance if Bristol City want him.
They’ll look at what Davies did at Birmingham a couple of seasons ago and think it can be replicated with someone similar.

Looking at who’s leaving their job’s in the premiership and the assistant coaches who we could realistically get.
Jason Tindall
Paddy McCarthy
Tommy Elphick
McCarthy has previous experience with us as a player and has worked with the palace youth set up.
Tindall is assistant at Newcastle and although Howe hasn’t said he’s going maybe Tindall would be tempted.
He has previously managed Bournemouth for a short period.Elphick is assistant at Bournemouth and is one of the favourites for the Bristol City job.

Any possibility they’ll announce a new manager at the game tomorrow?
Or is that just wishful thinking.
Maybe Fuchs seeing as he’s there anyway.
