Does your scenario work in the real world?
Professional courtesy, perhaps?
Yes I’m told many times to fvck off. 😂
Depends how long the meeting goes on for
his contract is up at the end of the season wish all the best for the future and tell him to go.
It’s not as if he’s been a huge success.
-
What the fvck is the point of having a meeting with him? Tell him to go and get someone else in.
2 wins in 14 is pathetic.
What is there to discuss? How shit he is and his obsession with playing past it players while holding back the youngsters.
Should have got rid once relegation was confirmed. -

Sean Dyche, he’s yer man…
We didn’t get him/he didn’t want it when we were in the premiership or championship.
In what world is he going to want to join us in league 1?

Just watched an interview with Robbie Keane on Sky Sports.
Wouldn’t be surprised if we went for him.
Ticks the boxes for these clowns.
His agent is Wasserman and he’s a well known name. -
They are doing what they normally do throwing a certain name out there and seeing what the response is from the fans.
They did the same thing when Ruud was going and Mr Ego Russell Martin was the apparent name in the frame.-

I don’t get the argument that because he’s an ex player that he knows the club and would be a great appointment.
Have we learnt nothing from the same approach with King - been here 10 years+ as a player and coach and clearly isn’t ready and the same can be said to a lot lesser extent Rowett?
Our most successful managers in recent years have had no previous link to the club - Ranieri, Pearson, O’Neil and Little.
Fuchs wouldn’t even be under consideration if it wasn’t for him being an ex player.-

I’ve heard he’s been signed up for Strictly.
They think he’ll be great with his dancing shoes and step overs. -
Are there any other examples of a former player similar to Fuchs going back to a club that’s feel away dramatically like us and rebuild the team?
Genuinely be interested to know if there is anyone.
I’m not convinced with him taking over.

Are you heartbroken broken?
Yes, not forgotten
Definitely. 😂
Missed our chance last summer.
I’m still looking at who’s going to be the Hassenhutl of this summer. -
Ole, Scott Parker, Hassenhutl, Russell Martin, and Gerrard won’t manage in league 1.

Targeting ex-players for the sake of it would be stupid. The fact that they played for shouldn’t even be a consideration when deciding whether they’re right for the job.
I’d rather we wouldn’t go down that route but I’m just pointing out that Cleverley imo is better option than the other 2.

Forget Fuchs and Wellens if we want an ex player in as manager we should go for Tom Cleverley.

Managers sacked in the championship, Garry makes it to one win in 13 and sneaks a second win with fck all to play for.
Should be ashamed to tout himself for the job
Watford Still sacked with 3 wins in 15Saints Still 2 wins in 13
Mason 9 wins in 26
Struber 14 wins from 38
Ismaël 8 wins from 30
Javi Gracia 8 wins from 20
Alan Sheehan 4 wins from 15
Paulo Pezzolano 3 wins from 9
The question is who from that list do we end up with next season?
I reckon it’ll be Struber or Ismael. -

We couldn’t even beat Sheffield Wednesday so I’m not convinced he would have got more wins. The only thing we’d have got would have been more draws.
Failing to beat absolute rubbish like Preston, Watford, Swansea and QPR doesn’t give me any confidence in Rowett picking up wins had he come in earlier.-

When did they announce that Ruud was going? I seem to remember that it dragged on after the season finished.
I don’t want Rowett here next season. -
Don’t want an ex player as manager.
king and Rowett have highlighted that it doesn’t work.
Rather have Wellens than Fuchs if we go down the ex player route. -
78 year old Roy Hodgson managed more wins with Bristol City than Rowett did here.
Rowett shouldn’t even be under consideration next season but I bet he will be.

Couldn’t bring myself to seeing the Spurs game so I watched the new game of thrones episode. Although I was keeping an eye on the score.
Obviously I was thrilled we’d done it but mixed emotions for me as my Mum passed away in March 2016 and she’d followed Leicester all her life and I found it tough that she wasn’t here to see what was achieved.-

Wellens or Fuchs both have that Pearsonesque vibe think both would kick this clubs sorry ass back to something like it should be.
I’m not convinced with hiring ex players.
Prime examples are King and Rowett.
A Pearson type manager I think we should go for is imo Michael Duff. -

Firstly: If he was in place in December or straight after Marti was sacked, we would’ve stayed up.
Secondly: He shouldn’t be anywhere near the club come June.
How do you think we’d have stayed up with him if he was appointed earlier when his record with us is 2 wins from 14 games?

Only way it changes is luck rather than judgement from the owners. That they pick an Enzo rather than a Marti. And they stick around for a 3/4 years.
Completely agree.
The only reason Enzo was under consideration was because Southampton were supposedly interested in him earlier in the season.
We don’t think outside the box.

League One - Who manages us?
in Leicester City Forum
Posted
I would add who are readily available
Gerhard Struber
Will Still
Ryan Mason
Valerian Ismael
Not that keen on any of the above.
Currently at league 1 clubs I’d like us to at least look at Michael Duff and Tom Cleverly.
