  1. CANNON TIME?!!!
  2. I try to circumspect with words. He’s doing nothing SUBSTANTIVELY different. Same role, same idea. Might come off differently against different opposition players (same as with Nacho and Vardy), but frankly much the same. ‘DAKA SCORES!!!
  3. One person’s “arrogance” is another’s self-confidence. Goofs have been made but generally the winning mentality has paid off.
  4. His decision making isn’t the issue. He shot when he should (wish Fatawu had done same) and tried to reach Farawu’s pass. He just isn’t technically as good at finishing.
  5. Frankly, he’s doing substantively no different
  6. IRRITATING half of football. Could’ve been up by 3-0 or tied at 1-1…
  7. Got to make these chances count…COYF
  8. Suspended. Five yellow cards.
  9. The opposition lineup. Callum Wright?
  10. Here’s your answer lads…
  11. Didn’t see either in the recent training pics/video
  12. Oops! Didn’t see one, so I started this thread. Please get rid of…
  13. Frankly, I thought Winks’ had missed it. Squeezed in by the narrowest of margins.
  14. The first touch wasn’t as crucial as the top-notch pass (not to mention he was being pulled back by the shirt by the West Brom defender).
  15. We certainly did. For starters, as I pointed out in my initial comment that you responded to, Ndidi stopped running past Fatawu (which was what actually led to our goal). We just seemed content to settle for the 1-0 score line (which is the most “dangerous” of score lines) Befuddling.
  16. Exactly! And it changed because we quit doing what we were doing up to then. They still had “great home form and the sixth best attack in the league” when we got (and stayed) on top of them from the blast of the 2H whistle.
  17. Well you should be well-chuffed that he’ll miss the Plymouth game.
  18. I suspect if they pressed us high up the pitch all of the time, we would resort to punting it upfield more frequently.
  19. Makes sense in some games, but not today nor against Wednesday on Wednesday.
  20. With all due credit to West Brom, we were well on top when we scored and frankly should’ve (cautiously) pushed on instead of seemingly settling. In fact, we were on top for virtually the entire second-half - until, ironically, after we scored. Bemusing really.
  21. ‘Funny, but he stopped well before he was subbed, and instead started stopping and passing backwards. Irritating really.
  22. Spot on! Looked like we were settling for a 1-0 win, instead of pushing on. Ndidi stopped making the runs beyond Fatawu that produced our first goal.
