And what exactly does any of this have to do with the factual reality that we scored 7 goals in 2 games? Point is if it’s previously occurred then it could well be a “coincidence” that it’s re-occurred under different circumstances. The simultaneous occurrence of two different things is NOT necessarily a causative relationship!

Agree, and more importantly Enzo seems to be leaning that way as well (extrapolating from his last presser).

No disrespect to Daka (he’s earned the accolades), but we scored 7 goals in the two consecutive games against Blackburn and Preston with Vardy and Nacho.

You’re the one who seem to be getting frankly butthurt… It’s a thread about Daka and someone brought Nacho into it (never said it was you, but understand why comprehension might be difficult when “you’re worked up” ), so blathering on about ‘deflection’ by my bringing in another player in the same role to lend some perspective to the discourse seems oddly irrational. As I’m in a generous mood tonight, I have taken the liberty to help you find some “pelters” on Daka from Wednesday’s game (yes, from just TWO DAYS AGO)! See the thread below (with most half-time comments between pages 16-19 or thereabouts), and check out characterizations such as “rancid”, “playing with 10 men” “Patson Spaka is back”, etc. Frankly, Flavor-of-the Week is quite a generous ascription. It’s probably more precisely Flavor-of-the-DAY!!

If comparing players in similar positions a “deflection” then said “deflection” started by comparing Daka with Nacho… I stand by my Flavor-of-the-Week comment, as Daka was even getting “pelters” at half-time of the Millwall game (simply go look at the match thread half-to e comments) - same as when he missed a chance from 2 yards out in the Plymouth game. It’s just the nature fandom (perhaps moreso FT fandom). Meanwhile, when Nacho was rattling off 4 goals in 4 straight league games earlier in the season, don’t recall much “pelters” (and the ‘deflection’ about wages was to sign him up). PELTERS, SMELTERS…SMH.

See above. Coulda, woulda, shoulda… You could say relatively the same for virtually every player and in fact the team. Perspective folks.

Pretty much same as Vardy with more PL experience, higher wages and a club that’s won 17 of 21 games. I get the unease some have with Nacho’s languid nature, and I get the usual FT Flavour-of-the-Week nature, but perspective helps.

At least it make it easier for JJ to get 101 back passes a game in without having to turnaround…

And yet he’s put those ‘gonads’ through a cheese grater of 6 goals this season…
