I totally agree with you. Ronaldo and Messi are the last of individual brilliance. Which is why Monga is so exciting, but, you know full well he will get plucked by Man City in the summer and be turned into another boring sideways passing player. Pep is completely to blame for what modern football has become….. just boring, unimaginative, unexciting football with every bit of individuality beaten out of a player. I long to see some high intensity, all out energy, in your face football.

The worst premier league season in living history. A standard so low that it saw Chris Wood score 20 goals. And we’ve contributed to being one of the three worst teams in the worst ever premier league. It’s been a hideous advert for modern football, for English football……. Here’s hoping something can change, and it isn’t employing clowns like Russell Martin.

But this is where the whole process falls on its arse. Relegation from the premier league is a massive issue, particularly for clubs like us…. So Everton and Forest both stay up, and we go down twice in three years? Surely we have the same argument? We lost out where others benefitted….

Martins far too much of a gamble. At least Maresca’s basic principals of having two wide players worked. If he hasn’t assessed this and realised it’s a bad idea we could be screwed. Can’t afford to waste what will be a limited window.

Well if he does end up here and that’s what he does then he will get murdered. One bonus maybe, and this is clutching at straws. Is we’re unlikely to go mad in the window, so he’s not going have as much at his disposal as he did Southampton. So he’s may be forced to do things slightly differently. Applying a 12 point deduction to our last championship campaign, would still have seen us finishing comfortably in the play off spots. In a season where we don’t chuck away needless points could still see us finishing in the top two.
