Respectfully I disagree. Pearson and his team set up a football club to operate seamlessly. Experts in every area which lead to an effortless operation. It was no surprise, that eventually that would result in some success. If every asset of the club is functioning as it should, then you’ll get the right people in to do the right jobs, and that leads to the right results. The PL victory was all of this coming together at the right time when the rest of the league fell off. Puel was able to shift the style to a continental style, and Rodgers built on it and led it to more success. But underpinning all of that was the blueprint Nigel laid down. Claudio benefitted from it, Puel benefited from it and expanded it to some degree in terms of young talent. Brendan further expanded on it in terms of the levels and quality of football and more silver where…. However, for whatever reason, that model was allowed to frivolously fall apart, and it has coincided with us rapidly declining. There’s nothing nostalgic about having a good system in place, and I don’t think a lot of fans appreciate what Nigel did in terms of setting up a base that functioned and did its job. KP made his life easier yes with added investment, but when you consider the PL title win that simply isn’t the case as we didn’t spent a fortune on players…. We had a system in place that worked and scouted the right profiles. There’s none of that system in place anymore, there’s essentially two people who make decisions, Top and Rudkin, and where’s the rest of that supporting staff that made the club run so effectively in the past? It’s mostly gone….. there’s nothing like that in place anymore, so it’s no surprise the club has drifted into the wilderness….. It can’t be understated, how efficient we used to be…. It wasn’t a fluke, it was a product of a good system. And regardless of what some’s view is of him, it started with Nigel, so it’s his product.

Literally all of our success was born from Nigel’s project…. King Power added a bit of financial flex, but even that is peanuts in comparison to some clubs financial power. Our success came entirely from the clubs set up, it bred success and over the last decade Top has let it dwindle away, and in the last few years accelerate away. No coincidence at all that now that model has been completely destroyed, we are in the shit. Clubs have copied it for **** sake. Milan? Now you’re talking utter tripe.

The man who destroyed Nigel Pearsons project.

Get ****ing rid.

I’ve heard we’ve enquired about him on loan. He’s had a horror season. Fully fit he would suit all over the championship.
-
We cant continue with Ruud, too much irreversible damage has been caused under his stewardship, if he stays that will just worsen further, regardless of how we back him.
-
He will be 6ft4 in a few years.
-
We’re also owned by footballs answer to the chuckle brothers….. and won’t have a new manager in post if at all until mid July……
-
He best do, at the moment he’s literally the only hope we’ve got going into what is going to be an extremely miserable season!
-
It was vitally important to get him tied down to some form of contract. Looking at the likes of Sunderland, Birmingham, Villa and even ourselves to some extent. If he progresses well and is looking like he will go on the trajectory we all hope, he could be sold for stupid money. But, he has to be allowed to mature and grow properly. Too many players like Monga have disappeared because the pressure is too much. Jude Bellingham has shown exactly how to manage that trajectory, is Monga has a shred of his mental aptitude then he will be fine.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

This is extremely true. Especially for clubs like Villa and Forest….. who now HAVE to qualify for Europe every season to comply. Like you say one bad season just completely ****s you over. What will be interesting is Manure, thanks to this season they’re on course to lose over £400m in three consecutive seasons….. will they even be looked at? Doubt it…. That will be brushed under the carpet as if it never happened. -

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

It’s blatantly obvious why he hasn’t been sacked yet…. FFP…….. -
He’s not that type of player. He’s essentially supposed to be a bigger version of Kante. He’s was excellent at ball recovery, and progression up the field for Lille. Not every player on the pitch’s job is to score and provide, you need some to do the dirty work and that’s what theoretically what Soumare does. Unfortunately, he just hasn’t adapted to the pace and style of English football, that’s all. We’ve seen flashes of what he is capable of, he’s powerful, with good technique and good ball recovery abilities. Problem with Soumare is he doesn’t track his runners well enough, he switches off in games and when the games gone he just gives up. On France and Spain he flourishes, the pace of the game suits him much better and he doesn’t need to track back as much. He certainly isn’t rubbish, he’s not a sexy player, he does the dirty stuff and he can playing in Europe fairly well. You’ve got to have tenacity and the willingness to defend on behind if you want to be a success in England in that position.

Makes you sick. If this isn’t enough to make fans turn I really don’t know what is. King power out, as far as ****in way as possible.
-
It’s very clear what the delay is. It’s PSR, it’s the only reason we’re delaying this.

Because we’re paying Doris £70,000 bags a week so she doesn’t go to Man City. -

Maguire has the best handle on the situation. Di Marco is still advising the club, so you’d like to think he wouldn’t be advising them to comply if he wasn’t confident the punishment will be minor if at all…… -
Nigel was still alive last time I checked.

I don’t disagree, Rodgers clearly lost interest in the project after the FA cup win. His head was elsewhere. I still maintain that he honest believed a “top 6” club would come in for him after that FA cup victory, and it never materialised…. After this there was a notable difference in his demeanour and attitude, it’s when all the bizarre press conferences and interviews started….. so you’re not wrong, what seriously damages his legacy is the post FA cup mardy, he lost all interest, and the board should have recognised this and pulled the trigger, rather than offer him a ludicrous contract that no club in their right mind would have bought him out of. That was the sliding doors moment, we dithered and shot ourselves in the foot. Like I said, when Rodgers was good, we were good, when he lost interest everything fell to pieces.

I actually think it’s pretty shite in all honesty. The northern clubs tend to get it right, ours is like a haven holiday camp kids club sometimes.
