None of this is conducive to a successful football club, Top has unfortunately lost his way, there’s reports of rifts in the board room, and Rudkin is allowed to continue in his role as if everything is normal. There’s no getting away from the hard facts, this team isn’t equipped to deal with premier league football, they’re weak, and lack integral profiles to be successful, we seemingly can’t land any of our targets and are being left behind by the likes of Ipswich. There’s no doubt there’s a horrible stench hanging over the club, and perhaps getting savaged every week may finally make Top realise this club is dead under him and needs some form of revival.

Just think we’ve got to pack the midfield and defence out. Sit and then look to hit them on the counter. There’s an overlap available in Ricardo and JJ. So the attacks can come down the flanks, which is fine because Spurs will leave spaces in behind due to the way they press.

If Whelan ran the show with another, I think things would be better. She’s always been held in high regard by people within the game, so I’m not sure if she’s entirely to blame. I get the impression the majority sits with Rudkin, I’ve heard he’s an arrogant **** as well. But unfortunately he’s got Top by the bollocks.
