the current situation in France is a good case study of 2nd & 3rd generation immigrants who absolutely hate the country they live in. They don’t have a future and they know it so they just cause as much trouble as possible.

I saw a video earlier showing the key moments during the 2016 election night. Seeing the change in mood as it becomes clear he’s won is kind of surreal looking back and knowing what we do now. I always wonder what an alternative universe looks like if he doesn’t win.

Well I won’t be voting for Reform so agree with your points. Farage doesn’t have the countries best interests at heart. My original point on the village kicking up a fuss now it’s close to home feels like it’s how most truly feel. They will champion diversity and immigration but when it arrives on their doorstep they don’t like it. You (not you personally) can say that the right should at least be honest in their views regarding immigration but it seems like both sides of the political compass need to be honest. I do feel like the asylum system is completely broken. Wasn’t there an article recently saying that basically barely any claims are actually legitimate?
