IMO he is much better player then Perez. Don't get me wrong , Perez is a hard worker and all, but he's does a horrible job on the wing, there is a reason why he is our most substituted player. Most of his goals and assists came from a CF or CAM position which suits him better. I think Perez gets more first team action because we're obligated by contract and nothing more. If Demarai will get that much amount of playtime he'll be much more effective than Perez. Off course signing Ünder will make both go down the pecking order, but it will surely show how bad we had it with Perez.

Last season when we played two up front, he started as a SS but actually played as a winger for most of the match.

Agree on Mendy, but Perez is absolute shite on the wing. Only when played as an attacking midfielder or CF ,he really showed how good he can be. He's really been wasted on the wing.

Would rather have Demarai over Ayoze on the wing, Mendy on the bench, push either Tielemans or Praet to DM and and play Ayoze instead. Much more creativity on the pitch this way.

Not accurate. Bayern sold 'cause he insisted on having first team action, even when he wasn't ready yet. If it was up to them intirely he'd stayed a bit longer to earn his place.
