Currently in Ayr before my nieces wedding at Trump Turnberry tomorrow.
OK, the weather, 24 degrees with a breeze off the sea, is definitely helping, but it's bringing back childhood memories of Scotish beach holidays.
Plenty of people on the sandy beach, long promenade, ice cream shops, carnival/ fairground open, and that distinctive smell of seaweed.
Loads of Americans around playing Troon, Turnberry, Prestwick.
