Were did the team play their home games when they were in the WSL2?

I only started following when we got promoted to the WSL...

Surely we're not playing at the KP if we're not in the WSL.

    Maybe Loughborough Uni or Quorn?

how many fans does the pitch the u23s play on at Seagrave hold?

  2. Randomly stumbled on this, when looking into unemployed managers -

https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/6957179/ex-aberdeen-boss-jimmy-thelin-misses-out-leicester-city-job/#:~:text=Former Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin, with Marti Cifuentes last month.

started like a house on fire at Aberdeen before it all went abit sour…but knowing our club, if he was on a shortlist before, he will be on it again.

i wouldn’t be shocked if we looked at Wilfried Nancy either

Can see him going to a club like Everton

Not for me, maybe Ipswich if they go up, whichever of West Ham or Spurs go down. Maybe a Sunderland or Palace

  4. Was easily better under Enzo. I always felt Enzo got onto him quite a lot, especially about when to shoot. He’s missed that since.

He was also helped that he had Yunus, McAteer and Albrighton available to rotate, another shambolic decision that we’ve played someone coming back from such a big injury layoff as much as we did this season.

Last season we knew our fate early, and did nothing for months.

I think this is the biggest factors to our relegation. The only player who’s looked capable of running this season is JJ, who did pre-season with Rennes. The wait to hire Marti was criminal

  6. Evans and Alves will make great squad options next year.

If we can keep Monga to start and add another winger (maybe one a little more experienced with good delivery - Jed Wallace anyone?) then we’ve got real depth there, Silko Thomas another option too.

  7. Think this has been the most positive thread of the season (not hard). But Braybrooke has been immense all season in differing circumstances. Evans seems to have shown enough talent for him to be in our first team squad next year too.

I'm all for squads balanced with youth, peak and experience but he's 35 this year.

Not seen him play to be fair but we'd probably do just as well keeping Ricardo Pereira (which we shouldn't!).

I’ve got no problem with a 2 or 3 33+ year olds being around the squad as we focus on our young players.

  9. Simply couldn’t care less - however, we should be looking at next year already;

                       Stolarczyk

    Aluko Souttar Vestegaard Thomas

               Skipp.      Choudhury

    BDCR.         Page.               Monga

                        Daka

Hutchinson, Gray, Otchere should all be on the bench.

  10. It’s going to be so hard for us to operate financially next season - wouldn’t surprise me if Top is now open to external investment but just seems to be too much emotion in it for him to sell unless he’s absolutely forced to (Chansiri style).

He’s way out of his depth, he knows it, and the only people he trusts are also incompetent
