I think it will be Rowett until end of season, can’t see the club tying any manager down to a 2-3 year deal at this point.

I’m beginning to think Franks success at Brentford was more a case of Brentford being run by competent people. We are more of a basket case than Spurs
Good clubs survive when people move on, they are created to do so. Brentford, Brighton even Bournemouth as well. Are not reliant on the head coach (although they do recruit well in that department).
They also don’t dissolve when selling a good player, it’s part of the plan and has already been reinvested. Look at Brentford with Thiago replacing Toney, or Brighton with Baleba for Caicedo.
its what we used to do well, Maguire>Fofana, Drinkwater>Tielemans.
nowadays all we do is based on blind luck, which we got with Enzo, not through design

The delusion on our board will definitely spend a good couple of weeks trying to convince Thomas Frank. Who obviously won’t be interested at all

Guessing Lascelles can’t do 2 in 4 days yet, happy that Mukasa starts, and that Ayew doesn’t. Is Monga injured?

only a gut feel so no link but it seems to be on trend to get manager's from Scandi region (thinking Middlesbrough) I wonder if we're trying for Kjetil Knutsen at Bodo Glimt. Surely the dude is ready for the next step...and I think would be deemed as 'ambitious' given they are a Champions League team....maybe wishful thinking
I wanted Knutsen when we appointed Enzo, feel the boat has passed on him dropping to this level now - he’s always seemed reluctant to leave Bodo too, I imagine he’s received a few offers

After reading about him for 5 minutes, I’m all for it, but that’s mainly because he isn’t Russel Martin

No, thankfully. I work with a number of people that know Skubala or went school with him and they're suggesting it's happening.
Having said that, they've fed me some bulls**t over the last few seasons.
Appreciate the clarity - I hope they are right!

My boss. Don't shoot the messenger.
Is he Rudkin?

I don’t think it happens until after Southampton in the cup at earliest.

I’m not even sure that it’s because he’s lost pace (which he has), but he’s lost that quickness of thought. It’s why he got robbed yesterday, why he should have been sent off at home to Brum, he’s just not sharp at all any more. Such a shame, as at his peak he was one of the best right backs in Europe and the best I’ve ever seen at Leicester, and even 2 years ago, was a class above most players in this league.

Apparently Burnley could get rid of Parker if they lose today, I’d be all over that

Actually a strong looking bench for first time in ages. Happy Lascelles starts. Oh and Daka > Ayew is the right call.
-
Surprised to see we see him more as a winger, didn’t feel we needed competition there unless Abdul could still move to Saudi?
could we play BDCR up top?
-
Smith wasn’t good enough, we saw an upturn yes, and a James Maddison penalty away from staying up, but we should have got the points needed with the squad we had.
We got absolutely dicked in the cup that year by the coach I’d be after, Jon Dahl Tomasson.
Im probably more in favour of Smith than some of the other dross mentioned though.

We do have quite a passive fan base but I do think there is a general feeling of annoyance with most fans, even if some don’t want any changes to the ownership, they do want more competence.

Not sure why, but just feel this guys going to absolutely cook

Failing to submit annual accounts by the required deadline (to the Premier League).

Failing to provide full, complete and prompt cooperation with the league’s financial inquiries.
3 charges total with 2 points attached to each charge basically. 6 points. People were speculating saying crazy numbers like 10 to 12 points
2 points deducted for poor financial planning
4 points deducted for being absolutely dog shit at running a company

Could be a great partner for Nelson, a decent organised manager, abit of luck with his fitness and we could look a lot more organised at the back pretty quickly.

Only we would loan out Evans and not get another centre forward in

I don’t hate this, probably on decent money and there’s an injury question, but we need an experienced leader at centre back. Him and Nelson could be a good partnership
