We are playing like it’s a pre season friendly where the result doesn’t matter. I hate this side. Think only Skipp, James and Daka have broken into a sprint.
despise us - burn the club to the ****ing ground

I can see Rowett starting Ayew and Daka up front today. 4-4-2

Mental that under Rowett he’s played 3 minutes. Really surprised me with how he didn’t look out of depth in the championship at start of this season. Birmingham at home he was particularly good if I remember correctly.
Key player next season, should have a real breakout year.

yes I do have a spreadsheet - no, I don’t have a life.for me, we need some experience at full back and CM. Maybe an experienced winger like Jed Wallace too.
Other than that, a centre forward or two is the obvious market

Absolutely honking decision

I want Hamza, Winks, Mavididi and Ayew nowhere near the squad but appreciate Rowett will probably start them all

Can see him only getting a move to Coventry/Ipswich/Southampton, or to a relegated Spurs/West Ham/Wolves

Luke Thomas’ long throws are beginning to get as annoying as short corners under Peter Taylor

Fatawus constant diving is ridiculous

Any 5 minute spell of pressure and we conceded, soft as shit

I don’t think we’ve been too bad but the wingers are dreadful - amazing to think they’re the same that tore the league up 2 years ago
-
Super tone deaf and some of the options are ridiculous.
however - JJ for POTS, Page for young player
-
No positivity for me until the ownership changes - even if we win the league next season, it will be cause we shouldn’t even be down there, and with these in charge will mean we’ve bought in overpaid players for the level again.
Change of ownership, change of transfer strategy and a clear intent to showcase our academy prospects and I’ll be looking to go down as often as possible. Until then I’ll head to Nomads for my football fix

Wilder has recently said that he is looking to sign about 10 players in the summer. Touch wood, one of those is Hamza. Maybe LCFC will offer them a buy one, get one free!!
Wouldn’t shock me, would imagine he’d have an interest in Souttar too. We will be selling cheap
-
Senior players I see staying are Stol, Thomas, Souttar, Skipp and BDCR.
Question marks over Nelson and Vesty, personally see Ben staying and Yannik moving on.
I’ve said this before on here, but the litmus test to our “reset” will be if Hamza is still here next season. Has to go for me

So my ‘source’ works in event management, I don’t think he works directly for oakview but he’s been working at the club for a year or so. At the start of the season the club told them in other words probably but to spare no expense in regards to hospitality and according to him it’s one of the biggest contracts they have, all was relatively fine until the last 6 weeks where they’ve had to chase payment and they got told by the club that they couldn’t afford to make a payment but if they would carry on as normal and they’ll try and sort at the end of the season. Apparently there’s been a fair few managers and technicians that have told them they’re not going to work until it’s paid which is a ‘logistical nightmare’.
Sorry if that is a ramble to read and there’s a lot of holes in it as I know absolutely nothing about hospitality and especially hospitality contracts so I’m trying to remember all the details, all I know for certain is is that they owe 40k. I asked him whether it could just be a cash flow problem and could well be sorted at the end of the season but he said this has only happened to him twice and one was Preston and Bolton and neither ended up payingZero reason to doubt this, and if true, throws a Cashflow situation into question that only makes it a short hop to unpaid wages, further points deductions and Sheff Wednesday administration situation within the next 6 months

Blackburn are irrelevant.
We're now in a straight points race with Oxford and West Brom.
We need to get 3 more points than Oxford and 5 more points than West Brom with 12 to play for. West Brom are unbeaten in their last 6 and Oxford have only lost once in that time, winning two. Oh and both have got Wednesday left.
We probably, realistically, need to win all four games to stay up.
Essentially, Ipswich just relegated us.
I think we are more likely to catch Blackburn than West Brom (points deduction permitting). I can see a scenario where Blackburn don’t pick up another point going into that final game

For me, we need 3 wins and one of those has to be against Blackburn. I don’t see us winning another game all season
