Things I'd rather do in no particular order:

    1. Wash the dishes

    2. Take the bins out

    3. Do the ironing

    4. Watch back to back episodes of East enders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale

    5. Drink out of a Jon Rudkin Mug from the fan store

    6. Have a Goal keeping training session with Danny Ward

    7. Watch the Leicester v Wolves home match again

Etc, etc insert every horrible job, possible topped off with watching every match RVN has managed this season back to back!

I did notice when the Trey Nyoni being poached by Liverpool was raised that Guy did get very protective of the club and whilst I can’t recall his exact words, it was along the lines of the club doing brilliantly to negotiate a great deal that benefits the club and earn millions from future appearances, international caps and trophies.

The reality is Jon Rudkin has played a very significant role and part in Guy Branston’s professional life, whilst the man is the devil incarnate to many LCFC fans, there will be people who have had very positive experiences and hold him in high regard for what he has done to help them on a personal level. Many of us will have experienced that within our working lives.

I think where it’s difficult for people with a long standing professional and personal relationship, is to then accept and potentially call out that person is now failing or struggling in their role.

As I said in an earlier post you cannot blame Guy for not wading in on the club and  Rudkin, given his ongoing involvement in the game and close links to the club, but it does also highlight the lack of people ready to challenge what has gone wrong and this acceptance that what has happened in the last 2/3 years is ok. Which does concern me that the general consensus around the hierarchy is nothing to see and let’s carry on regardless.

This is exactly the problem, it's like the Westminster Bubble at KP HQ, their weekly meetings probably last 5 minutes, JR and his yes people at the club genuinely don't see an issue with anything, the minutes from that internal review after we were relegated last time likely said "Brendan's Fault" like the next one after this comedy of a season will likely say " Coopers fault" the club hierarchy is 100% the issue.

They have all been there far too long its stale, just going through the motions, and it's trickling down to the players, the only thing that changes is their wages go up, with nothing to show for the Millions wasted and PSR issues, but worst of all Top has done nothing to improve anything, so we will 100% continue as we are, till he either wakes up and decides changes are needed or sells up we are at that point and we're at that point when we were relegated last time.

Just leaving the Amex, this is what I posted in your pre-match thread.

That was standard for us at home against the lower placed sides guys. The annoying thing is we’ll lose at home to West Ham and beat Liverpool.

Our home record against the bottom six in the last seven seasons is the worst in PL history, so this was very predictable for me.

Well played, based solely on the second half you could’ve easily won that, we went to pieces.

    Oh Diddums

Judging from his reported press conference comments, it sounds like he's gone back to saying he's committed to staying next season. He says he wants talks with the club soon to sort it out, which suggests that nobody has told him he's leaving. This would back up what the Dutch journalist was saying on the radio a few days ago...

Normally I'd do a list of positives and negatives for both and take my time with it, but I cant think of one positive for either this season and the negatives would take too much time just get rid of both whatever it takes

  6. It's Truly

    Embarrassing

    A mess

    Shite

    Dysfunctional

    Lazy

    Confusing

    Half arsed

    Zero passion

    Zero ability

    Unprofessional

    Unpleasant

    Painful

Being a LCFC fan at present is akin to stubbing your toe every single morning coming out the shower, it brings tears to your eyes watching them

Van Nistelrooy was asked if he believes the club has any hopes of remaining in the Premier League

This just sums RVN up all the hype and words but zero substance behind it.

    1. An obligation, yes you do but that's it just going through the motions.

    2. Defend the Club, the Badge- its insulting if he thinks we the fans truly believe that.

    3. Personal pride - They have proven they don't have any, just words that sound great but again no substance.

    4. We have to do better, no shit Ruud, where is the evidence that's going to remotley happen.

    5. Momentum, the only momentum we have is losing Football matches and NOT scoring.

That is wrong for me too say this because what is he supposed to say really, to be honest I'd rather he said nothing, we all know we are relegated, the only thing he should do is walk away, throw his hand in, so we can at least see a Football match with some improvements.

  8. I can't think off one player that has improved since RVN came onboard, in fact they're all worse technically and motivationaly, WTF does RVN instruct during Training, WTF do they do between matches, and WTF did they do during the international break, get him gone, whatever it takes, he is now making those who will stay worse, what a state we are in as a club.

  9. A team of individuals, who think they are better than they actually are, being paid a huge sum of money each week in a state of the art training complex that likely has too many distractions.

They are leaderless, with a manager incapable of motivating, or applying any sort pride in them.

It's an unacceptable position, but so Long as there is Zero accountability from anyone in charge or the owners, everyone will milk it for what it is, and they are.

Further proof our club is badly run.......Apparently his work permit has run out hence his omission from his International side.  Alledgedly, he has to stay in the UK in order to get it sorted.

You, seriously can't make this shite up....................

Not wanting to defend the club, or know the process for this sort of thing, but surely Daka himself has a part to play in ensuring his work permit remains in date.

Clutching at straws here, but we went into the break for the World Cup in 2022 in excellent form and dropped off a cliff on the return. Any chance the opposite will happen now?

No amount of time off, or international breaks is reversing the shite we are being served, it's here for the season and beyond, as nothings changed, only the date.

Yes, there were a few riots back then.

I remember being beat at home Vs Norwich 83 4-1 and there was a riot after the game, disturbances vs Poet Vale in 91 and the famous MON riot in 96

I'm not condoning any of it but when you think had sedentary we are now it's another world .

This was my very first football match, I remember it well... For all the wrong reasons...

Is Patson getting a new contract? contract runs out Summer ‘26, work permit should have lasted until then, only reason to need a new permit is a new contract, are the club actually making provisions instead of letting another player walk away for nothing

“On March 24, 2025, the Zambian FA secretary general, Reuben Kamanga, issued a statement regarding Patson Daka, stating that his club, Leicester City, requested his excuse from the national team during the international break to facilitate the renewal of his work permit”

I reckon Reubens been watching Daka perform this season, and come up with that excuse, so Patson doesn't feel bad about being dropped by the Zambian national team.
