I'm 100% out now, especially after seeing that footage of top.

Please tell me you will continue to post your Phil Mitchell pics, after each loss its the only part of a shit weekend that I enjoy

  2. We could have the whole 25 man squad on the pitch and it wouldnt make any difference, we are going to be in the Championship next season so let's plan for that now, this season is over we will be lucky to win another match with the way things are.

I expect they were embarrassed by their own incompetence after such a disgraceful display.  However uncomfortable they should have been feeling they should have been men enough to acknowledge the supporters who had travelled and paid to watch them. If they got flak they should take it on the chin.  They are professional footballers earning big money.  That's the price you pay and skulking off to the dressing room is shirking the responsibility you owe to the fans.

You would like to think so, it was that bad I felt second hand embarrassed for them, I'm that pissed off I took my beloved LCFC Flag down in my Garden, just waiting for my neighbour to say something witty I'm that pissed off I'll just agree.

  4. Our results, position and score today are a reflection of the club and where we are at, looking at the schedule of matches at best I think we have a chance in 2 of them, but looking at recent results we would be lucky to draw in those 2 matches we are going to be relegated, the best we can hope for now is Championship football and a total rebuild.

Stems from the zero accountability culture. Why put yourself in the firing line when there’s zero pressure to get results? You get only get grief for being o one fo the few man enough to do it.

The players will know they’re on too much money, they’ll know Rudkin is a soft touch and their agents pull the wool over his eyes.

Just doing the easy thing is what’s incentivised.

Top is just too pally with the squad and too close with Rudkin. If the owner isn’t going to bollock staff or players then the director of football should.

Instead we have two meek characters in the most senior footballing positions. Everybody can get away with murder at Disneyland FC. Get promoted after a shambolic relegation and it’s a trip to Monaco - the players must love Top because they take him for a ride with no consequences - even when they f uck up again and again.

Spot on post, the culture and lack of accountability from top to bottom is hilarious they are all 100% taking the piss, all those saying no one would come here, think again, if your on the decline, or just not a very good football player, perhaps in your last season, dont want to play to hard or push yourself too hard, and are looking for an excellent wage and cushy time take yourself of to LCFC, what basket case premiere league club would give Vesty a fresh 3 year deal, or still have Danny Ward in its side say no more laughing stock.

I don't want to create another thread for the sake of it but I think it's pertinent to do so.

It really irritated me that after that only a handful of players came over to show their appreciation to the fans at FT. Even the manager was nowhere to be seen.

Because they dont give a sh%t about the fans or the club they're going through the motions collecting a big wage

  7. With better players we might have seen better results, but he knew what we were when accepting the job, I just dont think he has the experience and know how required, not sure anyone else would salvage our shit show at present, but we need to try something different, and appoint someone else for the Championship rebuild, as I think we all know that's where we are going, as a club.

    Here’s some context.

    https://www.premierleague.com/transfers

A summary of the number of confirmed transfers for Premier League clubs so far in January

    * Note, I’ve ignored loans of younger players and looked to focus on first team activity.

    Arsenal: 1 out

    Villa: 2 in, 3 out

    Bournemouth: 4 in, 2 out

    Brentford: 1 in, 1 out

    Brighton: 1 in, 3 out

    Chelsea: 2 out

Palace: 1 in, 1 recall out

    Everton: 0

    Fulham: 0

    Ipswich: 3 in, 2 out

    Leicester: 1 in, 2 out

    Liverpool: 2 out

Man City: 4 in, 1 out

    United: 1 out

    Newcastle: 1 out

Forest: 1 in (Wayne Hennessey), 1 out

    Southampton: 3 in, 1 out

Spurs: 2 in, 1 out (tfr in immediately loaned out)

    West Ham: 1 out

    Wolves: 1 in

So, yeah, there hasn’t been much activity across the league so far.

    Here’s another source, https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/transfers/wettbewerb/GB1/plus/?saison_id=2024&s_w=w&leihe=1&intern=0&intern=1 which summarises there have so far been;

    38 departures

    49 arrivals

costing a net balance of close to -£250m; with more than half of that spend courtesy of Manchester City.

Why is the market so slow?

Given we’re in the era of registering 25 man squads, it makes sense that January will be lighter on activity than over the longer summer window.

Most clubs will have filled there 25 man allocation at the start of the season, meaning any in’s requiring registration would need to be balanced by transfers out - or leaving player(s) unregistered.

PSR will also be a factor in activity at this point in the season - clubs will know more about their positions and what headroom they may or may not have from actual income and expenditure figures for the season so far, compared to the projections they would need to base spending on during the summer window.

Roger that Jon you lost me there for a minute, so it's a NO, to any further business in January then...

    It’s no mystery is it?

    - Historic mismanagement means our ability to spend on transfers and wages is limited

    - Squad is hampered by deadwood and poor loans we can’t cancel

    - PSR restricts our spending and means deadwood is harder to shift, without it going down as a loss

    - Recruitment ‘system’ struggles to identify players

    - As a relegation threatened team that’s clearly poorly managed off the pitch, we’re not a massively attractive destination

This post should be in the next match day programme...

Is that Coady that Percy refers to on £100k a week?

Get this bloke out the club. They are purposely sabotaging us.

If true that is crazy 1. We are not getting that moneys worth of performance and 2. He simply put is not and has never ever been good enough to earn that much.

Anyone else just gone past the point of caring what happens on the pitch now? I want certain people at the club exposed for their incompetence now. I want humiliation.

Just watch the Leicester v Wolves match again

Thats why I don't think its really fair to get personal and blame top, he doesn't really know what he is doing, he lost his dad, has lost his direction, if hes not got a great support network its difficult for him to be effective, there could be many reasons for him being how he is especially if he has social issues. He may also have a deep emotional attachment to what his dad set up, which is hard to break. The lad needs help, I don't fundamentally think he is a bad person, hes just surrounded by people that aren't helping him and aren't up to the job themselves. I also understand the Thai culture is very loyal so many factors at play.

I agree with some of this, and sympathise, but he is a billionaire businessman, and must for his own sake as the head of establishment seek to correct the mess we are in, its not being ruthless its life:

    1. Over paying average players with long contracts, who as a result we cannot move on has to stop, the cause has to be identified and rectified ASAP!

    2. The sentimentality and lazy renewals of contracts for players that are not Premiere league standard or dont fit the style of play, or have the wrong attitude/ mentally has to stop ASAP!

    3. The Recruitment model for incoming players has to be established and stuck too, so if a new manager comes in the profile, attitude of player is there.

    4. Attitudes of players, managers and staff has to be honest and hard working, the culture needs to be set and maintained.

And on and on, (insert lots of valid points raised on this forum), if people in the club are not upto the job anymore, or refuse to change with the modern day world of football move them on, its possible to achieve all of this provided people want to be at our club are prepared to work hard to achieve realistic goals by going the extra mile for the excessive wage they earn we can once again achieve, disrupt the top half the big 6 whatever.

Its stale, stagnant, and not good enough for the money we as fans pay, if none of these things and more are addressed or he, through a sense of misplaced loyalty wont make the necessary decisions then he should sell the club to someone who wishes to do so. Less talk more positive action.

Some people just won’t have it. Whilst entitled to their opinion it drives me mad. Was talking to someone at work about everything at the club today. Completely defends the board.

    - poor recruitment? “It’s all just luck, a lot of signings we made people were fine with at the time”

    - high wages?  “we needed to do something to compete with the elite clubs, we couldn’t spend huge fees so needed to entice players in via that route”

-relegation? “They should have sacked Rodgers earlier yes but no one thought that team would go down, they’ve just been unlucky”

    - General running of the club? “The board have just been incredibly unlucky, they gambled on being successful but were hit with covid and hit with a completely unexpected relegation which has set us so far back.

    - Rudkin? “Not great but wouldn’t remove him, would just bring in help.

    I despair.

Is this the internal review findings...

He's slow and doesn't get in enough positions to score as a striker, can't see him getting anywhere near Kramaric. Outside the match where he scored 4, he's scored 3 goals from open play in 21 matches this season.

I agree I saw him pre season at Shrewsbury Town was everything you've said above

The Sun reported that RvN is unhappy at the lack of transfer activity. Sean from Enderby took this one step further and claimed that RvN is close to quitting. Then several posters on here decided to take it another step further and claim he’s already walked out.

Chinese whispers, nothing more. RvN will take the press conference tomorrow and will be in charge on Sunday.

Thanks for confirming very reassuring lol...

I don't blame him if he walks.  The team is s**t and they think they are better than what we saw with Cooper, well that's been proven to be wrong  They are still crap with a new manager with a more expansive style of football.  I never thought I would say this but get Dyche, he can work with bang-average footballers, and he'll soon bring them down to earth.

This is where I am at with it all, cant be any worse than what we are seeing week in week out.
