  1. An uninspiring Cup/Conference League tie if we get through, a Women's game (if it's just the city/ground itself you're looking for), a Youth game (same reasons, think some are still played at the KP) or someone flogging their tickets on the side
  2. Very tough task but most of their squad will be away on international duty until a couple days before the game and they should have a League Cup final the week after, bit of a weak side and anything can happen…we put in a good account against them in the league already too and that was before Bedford came in
  3. Bedford sending Sophie Howard up front like MON with Walsh or Elliott…hey if it works!
  4. Leeds, Saturday 12:30, BT
  5. Final is Sunday April 24th against Arsenal, at Loughborough Uni of all places! (Open to spectators)
  6. I think the biggest surprise after the title win has been how apathetic I’ve slowly become towards league football, maybe it’s just the Premier League and knowing how impossible it is to consistently challenge for the league without becoming some soulless money pit recycling “stars”, and as/when we end up in a different division that feeling will change, but the league season just feels like this long drawn out process to decide whether next season is interesting (if you get Europe) or mundane (10th) or painful (look set for a relegation battle) to me now. On the flip side, I’ve never enjoyed Cup competitions more, getting to the quarters, semis, even final, causing upsets, days at Wembley, the different teams we’ve played in Europe, it’s the fun side of being slightly below the top, top table.
  7. PSA: Tickets for all the remaining home games are on sale now, as is travel for Spurs away in the FA Cup on the 30th (tickets bought from Spurs/on the day) https://tickets.lcfc.com/en-GB/categories/lcfc%20women
  8. Great 3 points, 2 for 2 at the KP under Bedford as well. If we can keep playing like that and get the likes of Devlin, PBG & Barker 100% fit we’ll have a much nicer second half of the season. 3 points next week and there’s a real chance of Villa being sucked into it. Edit: Highlights are on The Women's Football Show on BBC One after MOTD2
  9. There is, or has been in the past, Stadium parking for £5 but think you have to book well in advance (might be worth ringing the ticket office see if it's still available if it's not online), other than that theres the line of pay & display's near the Royal, Havelock Street?
  10. Arsenal’s is around 3,000, we’re 2,300/2,400 with Chelsea in between. Only takes league into account from memory, we’ve had just the one WSL game at the Pirelli but still a massive drop, probably about 500-600 for it, no clue on the Conti cup ones but looked a bit less for the Man City game.
  11. Nice initiative tbf, already have one of the best attendances in the WSL (believe only Chelsea & Arsenal are higher) if this sends a few more down then brill!
  12. 70,000 tickets sold for the Barca-Real Women’s Champions League game, Barca mens team have only topped that number twice this season. Prices are gonna be a lot different but still!
  13. One of the youngsters that made their debut tonight, Alanta Brown, is a product of Christian Fuchs’ Fox Soccer Academy Ava Baker is a current England U16 international Monique Robinson is arguably the highest regarded prospect/closest to stepping up full time atm, been involved in the first team squads a few times already The WSL Academy side are in a WSL Plate Semi Final against Liverpool later this month, final is at Loughborough Uni Probably more reasons why LB got the managerial job Edit: Not to mention Mackenzie Smith whose already stepped up full time this season at 16
  14. First news of head coaches getting fired starting to trickle in, Brian Flores being sacked by Miami seems a surprise.
  15. Well before the Rams decided to stop playing against the niners
  16. Saints & Steelers looking likely for the playoffs with the rosters they have shows how much good coaching can overcome
  17. We're one point behind the team we just beat 2-0, nearly all of our attacking options were out today thanks to injuries or covid, the atmosphere around the camp is 10x better than pre-Bedford too...we'll be alright (ignore Wednesday's game, we'd need a ridiculous win to go through and are basically gonna play as many back ups as poss). Villa at home in a couple weeks is where it starts again for us, Brighton is probably a stretch too far.
  18. If it's the same TV slots as the third round then 12:45 Saturday with Notts County's game being moved, or 2:15pm Sunday are probably the best compromises for TV companies & Police
  19. If we get a home tie moved to the Sunday I’m selfishly hoping for a late kick off, the Women’s team are away to Brum at 2 that day, could just about get back for the 5:10 game…Cov away would work too
