  1. So because Ward Thomas McAteer have played the odd game you think that makes them first team players plus Coady was a reserve under Cooper Skipp was in and out same with Ayrew who played up front in this match and El Khannouss and BS were squad players at the time. Only Justin who got dropped the previous match and Okoli could be considered first team players
  2. We lost to Forest Chelsea and Man United away all expected defeats the games before that we drew with Ipswich and won back to back games v Bournemouth and Southampton
  3. Can I ask who you think will sign Coady and match the salary we pay him.
  4. You are aware we played our reserves in the cup match against a full strength United side Wolves and Ipswich took points at home not at Old Trafford
  5. Yep let's just ignore the fact we played our reserves in the United Cup game when they played a full strength side
  6. After the abuse Ward took v Wolves no chance don't forget he picked Ricardo in the end and started to play more Enzo ball to to appease the fans and even if he did we would still be in the same position just would probably have lost by more
  7. People who say we were lucky to beat Bourmouth when we should have been 3 up at half time conveniently ignore the fact we were lucky to beat West Ham
  8. Well under Cooper we were unbeaten against bottom 6 sides Ipswich Southampton Palace and Everton just played 2 bottom 6 sides under Ruud can't score a goal let alone get a point
  9. Amazing that nobody takes into account all sides have injuries esp this stage of the season. For example Cooper came up against a full strength Villa side Ruud played a Villa side missing 5 players
  10. Don't understand how they judge it maybe because his pass to Vardy took a deflection notice the goal against Villa wasn't counted as an asset for Vardy either
  11. All strikers miss chances Andy Cole finished with around 170 PL goals but missed chances by the bucket load. Remember Glenn Hoddle not picking him for England saying he needed 5 chances to score a goal.
  12. 31 isn't old in the modern game and regarding Ayrew thought it was 5M but either way you don't get much for that amount anymore we spent 11M on Danny Ward who played 2 matches for Liverpool
  13. He provided the assist for the Vardy goal v Brighton and 6 goals from 17 starts last season is impressive for an attacking midfielder plus he was a free transfer most throught it was a good signing at the time
  14. I have agreed that Skipp was a poor signing BDR on paper was a good signing over 150 PL games in a useful Fulham side 25 goals and not particularly old at 31 it's just not worked out plus he was a free transfer Ayrew is fine as a squad player
  15. Hindsight is a wonderful thing BDR played 33 times in a very good Fulham side last season and scored 6 goals he was a good signing on paper that's just not worked out Ayrew is a useful squad player and has scored important goals agree Skipp was a poor signing
  16. Steve Cooper is a curious one don't see anything in him that's impressive but yet somehow he's been successful everywhere. Great success with England at youth Level 2 play offs with Swansea worked miracles with Forest and managed nearly a point a game with the Foxes . Can we really just put it down to luck?
  17. Not true off the top of my head I recall Vardy missing a 1 on 1 against Spurs we also missed several chances against Villa not too mention the open goal Ayrew missed at Palace
  18. But that's the thing when Cooper was in charge many were claiming we had a mid table squad being held back by Cooper and now all of a sudden its a poor squad and RVN don't have a chance
  19. And there's me thinking we weren't in the bottom 3 when Cooper left
  20. Can answer my own question 38 appearances off the bench so 18 goals in 61 starts not great but certainly not terrible
  21. Yes but how many are sub appearances? Last season he got 7 in 17 starts which is decent If you are coming on in the 10 minutes of matches its not really fair to judge
  22. He scored 7 goals in 17 starts last season you call that crap and signed a new 2 year contract
  23. Charlton also have the game against the foxes on in full from the 1986/87 season Steve Walsh sent off after 23 minutes for elbowing Jim Melrose we lost 2_0
  24. Don't entirely agree about Bournmouth yes we were holding on in the 2nd half but we should have been 3 up at half time we had a clear penalty not given and Vardy missed a one on one
  25. Are you forgetting the Palace game when we should have taken 3 points but for Coady and the injury time goals against Arsenal?
