A lot of us said in summer that the new format of the European leagues will benefit teams who don't deserve to qualify in the latter stages. When you allow 24 or 256 teams to qualify they can get lucky later especially the "big" names. Another nail in the coffin of the sport. A Europa League final of Spurs vs Man Utd is the biggest joke ever. It will probably be the first time I won't watch a European final to keep my insanity.

Forest have bottled it but the fact is we can't even compare the quality of the 2 teams. We played some sublime direct football back then. Forest looked like a mid table team all season but somehow they managed to be in the 3rd place for the majority of it.

If a defender is covering the majority of the body of the offensive player it shouldn't be an offside. End of. They have ruined the sport with these stupid rules. I had a great time watching this until this offside. It's infuriating what they have done to the sport.

I didn't have time yet to check in depth the UEFA agreement/documentarion Marinakis sent. FA and PL prohibit shadow ownership or people acting in the background financially. A bit different but Abramovic was forced to a flash sale (due to sanctions) but he could have stayed in the background as Marinakis will do now. I don't expect them to do something because the whole thing is a clown show right now.

As I posted a couple of months ago this trick/workaround might work for UEFA but there might be issues with FA and PL authorities. This kind of "unofficial" involvement isn't allowed by the current domestic rules especially financially. Let's see how this unfolds but I sense Forest might be in trouble getting the green light from FA and PL.

That's the definition of corporate football. Atmosphere in English stadiums is so bland it's shocking. It's 0-1, there are 5mins added and you can see the "fans" leaving. A disgrace.

I was always anti-PSG but the truth is this season's team is very likeable. I think I just hate the primadonnas and influencers footballers. I don't want Mbappes, Viniciouses, Bellinghams, Rudigers etc. These players and their egos cause huge problems, they're very unstable mentally. Maybe I'm a bit harsh with Bellingham but I feel he's losing it also. Arsenal are lucky this isn't 0-3 or more already. PSG are 10x classes above them.

They've won the title like 2-3 months ago. Most excitement gone already and a pitch invasion would have been ridiculous under these circumstances.

Apart from the Forest fans and the tourists of the other team nobody would sit on his couch to watch that semi final. In addition everyone is out enjoying some nice weather. The league game was all about Liverpool fans again. I don't think even hardcore Spurs fans are watching their clowns who can't even do successfully a string of 3 passes.
