Doesn't make any sense what you're saying. Amazon executives already said for years now that the service would love to have the full package. EPL won't give them more even if they offer 2 billion. Also most of us have Amazon Prime for almost 2 decades now. My Prime membership started in 2006. What are you talking about?
-
All you need is a pragmatic, decent manager/coach in this league who knows a bit about tactics. This way you can shut down most "Top 6" or whatever teams which boringly pass the ball sideways and back like it's a ticking bomb.
-
I think there's no other alternative for Spurs. Surely they can't sack another manager, they can't get rid of the full squad in January or sell the team to some Saudi butchers. Their only choice is to call it quits. Dismantle as a club, change their name and start again from National League.
-
No problem for them. They can bring in Duran at the HT.
-
Well, you're wrong. Atletico has fined several times players for underperforming. Olympiakos, Roma, Lazio have done it hundreds of time. Partizan also. I won't even mention the teams in Turkey. Legal teams can't do anything. You're underperforming and the club has every right to fine you or penalise you with a % off your wages.
-
Just Google it. Hundreds of incidents in the countries I mentioned. For starters google Marinakis fines players of Olympiakos. Then you'll get dozens of results across the Mediterranean countries alongside contract freezes etc.
-
Nope. Fines are the most common discipline measure for underperforming either as a team or individually and the owner has the right to implement them. Most of the times is a percentage taken off wages. For repeating "offenses" the board has the right to terminate or freeze the contract of a player. Happens regularly in Italy, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
-
In all Mediterranean countries (Italy, Spain, Greece) when a player (or players) are blatantly underperforming they're fined or even have contract terminations or contract freezes.
-
OK. Next time you go to a restaurant and they serve you a burnt steak, eat it and after you pay the bill boo them outside the premises.
-
I'll just stay away from Internet for a week and check both Liverpool and Man City results on the 2nd of January. Who knows, I might be getting a late Christmas present saying we conceded less than 12 goals in both games.
-
Hmm, I was under the impression it was worse than this. Let's start him again next game..
-
This guy is one of the reasons this country is going down the drain. Disgusting.
-
I respect your opinion but like I said this is happening since the invention of the beautiful game. It's part of the sport. I didn't travel this time for the game mainly because of Christmas preparations and such but you're telling me I'm not allowed to express my disappointment during the game after travelling from North Yorkshire, knowing 2h before Ward is starting and having my blood going right away to my brain? You're telling me I need to remain calm until the 94min or so after spending hundreds of pounds and watching an incompetent fraud earning thousands per minute to just stand in front of the goalposts?
-
So it's due for renewal. 😜
-
Players are booed by fans during the games for underperforming for decades now. So you want to bring your stupid political correctness into football also?
-
RVN didn't even watch the highlights of our winning title season. Do you really expect him to have watched a highlight reel of Ward? If I'm wrong I challenge RVN to come here and deny what I'm posting. He doesn't have a clue about the squad and about our recent history. He only knows about Vardy's record and that's it. He's too "big" to care about little Leicester. He's here for the money. This is the sad truth.
-
Good lad. Dismissed. 😜
-
Oh well, we have at least these Spurs and Man Utd clowns to lighten up a bit our mood. What a circus.
-
Yet another one feeling sorry for the fraud. May I ask why you're feeling sorry? Do you know this lad personally? Have you been to one of his glamorous parties?
-
I'd say sack him immediately just for this interview. RVN has completely lost the plot. Sack him now and bring in a fan to coach/manager. I'm offering myself for free so the board can save money also. Shambles.
-
It wasn't just an example/comparison to all these mental health warriors who feel sorry for him because he was booed. Ofc Simeone wouldn't even think giving a second of playtime to this fraudster. If he did there would probably be a massacre in the dressing room at HT.
-
You take the hit by the results of your business and terminate his contract. Simple. You acknowledge your mistake and move on. Here we have several managers giving him the job and the board paying him millions despite the mistakes. This is the difference.
-
Why? Are we messing with the mental health of this poor soul? Ooooh poor Ward, he was booed. Are you guys trying to get some of us banned from FoxesTalk? Wtf.
-
Ward is lucky he's not playing for a team like Atletico Madrid in Spain. Tomorrow he wouldn't even be able to show up for training, go for a walk in Madrid city centre and a manager like Simeone would have terminated his contract and career. People are struggling to even stay warm at home and frauds like Ward make millions by impersonating.
-
If you asked me to relegate 3 teams now based on their idiocracy it would have been us, Man Utd and Southampton. Totally deserved all 3 to go down.
