If I understand well, some of our fans here expected the same players, under the same formation, under the same "manager" who were completely hulimiated at Millwall to go to Plymouth after a few days and win by playing the exact same "football". Let me see how this is called. Oh yes, insanity.
-
Thinking doing the same. I'll probably watch our first 20-25 mins to confirm the "style" is still working and then I'll watch the golf while playing the Augusta course on PGA2k23.
-
If I remember well Nacho was great against Bournemouth in the FA Cup game. He was dropped immediately after that one so idk what's happening on Enzo's mind. If he plays the same exact formation tonight there's no way we're winning. Eventually one team will batter us 3-0 or 4-0 with 3-4 shots on goal.

Give her £50 for shopping.

I'm not even convinced he'll leave in the summer. He'll find an excuse to stay.
-
Leverkuzen 1-0 but I don't think West Ham had any chance qualifying even if it stayed 0-0. Tbf it should have been 7-0 already. Leverkuzen's playing the best attractive attacking football in Europe all season, they're like prime Ajax back in the good days. 2-0 now.

His behaviour is very suspicious, I'm struggling to find any other word to describe it. Even in the well known football management videogame if something isn't working "managers" from age 7 to 80yrs old make changes, they have a plan B or just trying on the fly a plan B, C, D or Z. I know the above example is excessive but what on earth is Enzo doing? He couldn't see in HT against Millwall that nothing was going by his plan for 45mins? Did he expect everything to change magically at the 46min onwards? This is a very strange behaviour/approach from a professional.

I watched and read some Leeds fans reactions last night and their comments are exactly the same as ours regarding Farke. At some point I thought I was accidentally browsing our forum. I'd say they're spot on on their criticism.

Don't mind the clap, there's a worse nightmare: The shopping list notepad.

Tbf these ifs never verify in Championship. Leeds properly bottled it tonight against a team on the beach.

“We will get better as the season goes on”

He was talking about Autumn. -
Does this mean all our players will be restricted to 1mph? I'm pretty sure I saw a couple tonight against Milwall reaching 2mph, Ricardo was one of them I think.

First whole page of the forum.

He's probably spending hours reading our posts here. If we start now collectively praising this "style" and "philosophy" he will play a 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 next game. He's like a teenager.
-
You're forgetting that their team is attacking and has a quick tempo in most games. Yes sometimes they're attacking in an unorthodox way but at least they're not playing side and back passing football like us and Leeds.
-
Exactly. If I was the manager today I would have changed the formation and two players at the 30min mark of the first half. This is how a manager must react inside the game, not just watch the disaster unfold for 88mins.
-
He doesn't know. He tried to contact Plato and Socrates but they were unavailable.
-
He won't do it mate. Me and others are calling for it since the beginning of the season. I have like 50 posts saying the same thing, I'm sick and tired of repeating myself like an idiot and probably our fellow fans are sick of seeing the same posts.
-
If we go up we need at least 15 PL quality players and a manager (a proper one, I'd rather have a fan of this forum). Neither can happen so another season at Championship looks like the most viable option right now.
-
One day fans will realise that the majority of these managers are like politicians. Full of lies, unintelligent, incompetent, arrogant. They're managers because they have the correct connections to be there. Enzo should have been sacked after the press conference in which he actually told us we're stupid and we don't know anything about football. Our next home game after that press conference should have had just the ball boys inside the stadium.

Their remaining fixtures are very tricky. They're playing all teams involved in the relegation battle and also Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. They'll probably stay up but they can't afford any slip ups against Forest, Luton and Brentford. That said, the optimal scenario of both Forest and Everton going down is a possibility now. -

It's absolutely shocking. Do they have certain instructions to not book players for this abuse? Betancur made a nasty challenge, he was booked and another Spurs player was on the ref's face swearing and bullying. -

Spurs are a bad circus and Maddison fits well in there. It's all about dancing, posing and a kids playground when things rarely work but most of the times it's a bleak, dark, stressful environment in which these players can't cope. This situation has now solid roots into the club and fan base. -

Shields forgot his words while he was tackled by Lewis. Sayer didn't book Lewis and there was a stage invasion. -
Be careful guys, you might have a visit by the Scottish police under the new hate law. 😀
