Bournemouth FA Cup (a) Match Thread
Fear Of The Fox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think it matters. We are a top Championship team with players somewhere in between PL and Championship quality wise. These missed chances are typical and not far from the average rate at this level. Luton has tons of chances missed also in PL. -

I've had enough with the refs. Leg breaker challenge and not a single card? What's going on? -

I'm nervous in every single game of ours. I can't understand how someone can be relaxed unless it's a friendly game. I was nervous when we were 0-9 up against Southampton. -

Newcastle need a major rebuild and Howe isn't the manager for this task. They'll announce Tuchel soon. -

I'm not saying we can chase him. I'm saying we need a prolific finisher up front and the market isn't there for us. -
If some of you are trying to wind up the rest of us by calling disasters etc, challenge accepted and I'll raise the stakes: I'm so glad Ipswich won and I want them to win most of their remaining games so they'll get promoted with us.

Yes it is. Marinakis has done the same moves before hiring former refs at Olympiakos. -

Yes, now that the nerves have settled a bit (I'm still fuming though), our performance was dominant and the plan well executed. It's obvious we need 2 quality/calm CBs and a prolific striker. The market is thin though for both positions unless we manage to convince someone like Toney to join us. -

Why our board/owner doesn't release a statement of what happened yesterday? Yes we collapsed the last 15min, yes we missed a lot of clear chances but what was happening from the 1st minute officiating wise was a disgrace. If this was Liverpool they would have released already a 2h video of Hollywood blockbuster quality about it. I'm afraid we'll go back to the PL like a lamb waiting to be sacrificed. -

Exactly. If it was me or any other genuine fan that follows the sport for decades there's no way I'd make a single mistake using the VAR technology. So it's either complete incompetence and lack of knowledge or there's something else happening behind the scenes which we'll never be able to prove or expose. It's hard to believe also these refs make genuine mistakes. It's not rocket science. The linesman yesterday had the perfect positioning, not a single player disrupting his sight, the whole ball deflects off the body of the Leeds defender and everybody can see it in real time. Imo he had the intention beforehand to disallow any goal which could fall under the "not clear" category. -

I'm reaching my 50s and I haven't seen a goal like our 2nd disallowed. You might see this kind of goals disallowed in Colombia or Bolivia where pure corruption has infiltrated in the sport. This 2nd goal of ours was disallowed by plan. -

Who cares. We'll still be promoted but then what? I've had enough of these refs and it's going to be even worse in the PL. I'm really losing my patience with the sport. -
Game's lost because it's rigged by the officials and everybody else (betting companies, big media corporations) participating in this farce and not because we missed chances. 0-2 up and it ends 0-5. Owner and Enzo must release a statement after the final whistle. I'm fuming.

Has he finished primary school or dropped out like the majority of these officials? -
Absolutely shocking officiating. This game and the officials must be investigated now. And their relatives also. Investigate all the bookies also while you're there.
-
Ipswich and Southampton fans are shocked by this guy who makes a living by calling himself a football ref. I just hope us and Ipswich get the automatic promotion. Sky's coverage is suspicious and against the principles of independent journalism. Why we can't even enjoy a good football for once?
-
Just dismiss Pawson at HT and put a Leeds fan as a ref. Surely it can't be worse than that.
-
This ref is going to ruin one of the best games this season in all top tier English football.
-
Tbf this clash so far is top PL quality regarding pressing, pace, runs and quick passing.

It doesn't make sense. I would understand a 3/1 based on Arsenal's recent form but a 5/1 at home for an experienced team like Porto is bonkers. Despite the very late goal this has surely cost a lot of money to the bookies. The night must have been a disaster for them because big gamblers have surely taken advantage of the trio, Napoli game was nailed as a draw, 5/1 Porto is a gift and they closed their bet with Liverpool. That's easy money for the big players of betting. -

How on earth a player 1.50m is defending a corner against VVD? This D is all over the place. -

So what's their excuse for being 1 nil down so far? Have they already put the blame on the beer prices or the quality of the TV screen?
