It's fxxking hard work watching Stoke.
-
That's why we have the absolute machines of Reid and Ayew in the squad!
-
Bit of a step up ain't it? German youth league to Premier League?
-
Cannon bags v Luton. Nice finish.

Yeah that went well!

Everton as well for me. I get the whole turd won't flush thing but they're scoring at a rate of less than a goal a game and unless they sort that out they're well in the mix. Palace are in a similar state but I think they've just got better players all over to sort that out.
-
But that wouldn't make any sense given we'd be buying him back for around what they paid, in which case the market value of the player was already set last summer and so buying him at that value doesn't constitute in any way an unjustifiable amount.

Wolves sold 2 players of note. Neto, who has spent about half his time at Wolves injured and Max Kilman, a defender who is playing in an (almost) equally shit defence at West Ham. That brought in €100mill+. For the starting 11 they've bought in no defenders with Mosquera coming back from loan (now injured), a goalkeeper that they've been chopping and changing with Sa who he was meant to replace. Andre as a DM for decent money. Their sales are not nearly as crippling to the side as they appear to be. But their purchases look a right mess. They've got Borges on loan, a player that some on FT were creaming over the idea of signing when he left Man City, and he doesn't feature for them. If the players they have are good enough then it's got to be that O'Neill is the problem like Cooper was for us. A manager so scared of conceding that he perplexingly sets up to sit in, try to stay in the game and steal something, despite clearly not having the ability to do so. But that doesn't seem to be what Wolves fans are saying about the set up. It doesn't even change on a game by game basis, it changes every 10 minutes. And not for the better.

"a Japanese club in the lower leagues of German football " Ok, bit weird. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/basara-mainz-why-a-former-leicester-city-star-is-running-a-japanese-club-in-the-heart-of-germany/view/news/446804

I don't think they've got any players good enough to demand fees that makes selling them in January make sense. They'll probably have a new manager by then.
-
I think that's the key element. If we're desperate for a cash injection then that's an element any buyer can take advantage of. If we're in a good place however, then we can demand a large sum. Also dependent on who and how many are interested.
-
Villa sold Archer to Sheffield Utd and bought him back the following summer. Unless there's some abstract rule that says it can't be done in January rather than the following summer window then there's already precedent set. They've got no say in it.
-
What do you mean the Premier League wouldn't allow it? They wouldn't have a choice.
-
We wanted £40mill in the summer. It's not staying at that level if we stay up especially given how much of that is down to him.
-
Absolutely nobody is going to pay them £30mill for KDH. I wonder if he'll spend his entire Chelsea career being loaned out. We have more pressing areas of concern now though and we've already got a packed midfield. He's on about 80kpw now too apparently.
-
Was he actually any good on loan to Luton? I don't recall.
-
Guess that answers that!
-
Now who goes for it and who shits themselves now they both have something to lose?
-
You must feel a right twat doing a drawn out celebration only to have VAR tell you half an hour later that it won't count.

Opta have timed the header from Soucek with contact made with his head at 52:05 and hitting the back of the net 6 minutes later...
