  1. Out of contract in the Summer. So if this is a signing for then, then great, think about it more down the line. If it's for January then you just wait for Man Utd to concede paying him off and letting him go early. Which probably doesn't happen cos financially they're up shit creek on transfers. Unless they just can't register him after they've done their January business.
  2. They can borrow Ward!
  3. He's a moron in well over his head. Either his pride means he can't see it or his ego means he won't admit it, but he's limited to playing a losing game. He should be grateful that Southampton have no ambition.
  4. Liverpool have the small matter of renewing the contracts of Salah, VvD and Trent. Given the wages they'll end up forking out they'll not have the dough to buy Bilal, and if they don't extend any of those contracts then their money will be spent on finding replacements for those players, none of which are mids.
  5. But it won't be a masterstroke, cos he'll cost them about £60mill.

  7. We can't be idolising the likes of Brighton who pull out the likes of Buonanotte for £5mill to add to the Caicedo's, Balebas and such only to want to overpay to bring back somebody for the squad, pretty much purely because they're homegrown with a £30mill pricetag.
  8. 3/4 years ago we were starting Luke Thomas in an FA cup final... Shit happens.
  9. He's only been asked to play as a PL starter because the first choice is injured for the season and the loanee wasn't available last game. It's not nonsensical. It's needs must.
  10. In Grinch mode, but they were only top scorers until the following day when Chelsea grabbed 4 against Spurs to go 4 ahead, equal on games played. Still, it's Brentford so well done.
  11. That's what I'm saying, (although he spent about a quarter of last season as a striker). Taggertvswise suggests he'll struggle to break 10 goals, when that would be an excellent return for an attacking mid in a struggling prem side. Only 2 players considered attacking mids got more than 10 goals last season. Palmer and Eze, the latter only by 1.
  12. Souttar with yet another clean sheet.
  13. Szmodics is currently on 3 goals and he's not playing as a striker with Delap playing ahead of him, bit premature to say he's not going to cut it at this level.
  14. Cos he made a mistake in the defeat to Man Utd in the cup and therefore must be cast out.
  15. Kompany strolled to the Championship title proving that he's capable when he has superior players to the rest of the league. Martin had to scrape through the playoffs whilst a newly promoted side took the other auto spot. He's not shown the big clubs that he's got what they want. Kompany and Enzo did.
  16. Lookman got a little feature on the BBC about his time with Atalanta. Honestly the piece is boring as fxxk to me, but might be of interest to someone. Maybe.
  17. Juma looks giant. Giant Juma.
  18. They might be open to selling him, but nobody is going to be in the market for him. He's on a ridiculous wage until 2028, they've saddled themselves with him unless they pay off a huge chunk of his contract which kind of defeats the purpose of selling him.
  19. He shouldn't have been on the losing side. Put in a great cross in the dying minutes, but Retegui managed to hit it over from 3 or 4 yards with the goal gaping!
  20. Burnley could do with a striker, the rest pretty much have it sorted.
  21. But not your memory!
  22. It really is difficult to gauge him as a player because Stoke are fxxking awful. Scored a good goal today because Manhoef forgot to hog the ball and played him through, beat his defender opened his body up and got enough power and accuracy that the keepers touch couldn't divert it. Made a clearance too. Other than that his only other highlight was him and Koumas getting in eachothers way in the box and falling over eachother. I don't know how this'll affect his value because Stoke aren't really in contention for anything, so you can bet they won't buy him. If they were chasing promotion you could sort of hold them to ransom a bit, but as is they're an also ran probably more likely to go down than get the play offs. Every time I've watched Stoke he's barely in the game (bar the Portsmouth game), but that's not down to him, they're just atrocious.
