Brilliant finish from Mav. Couldn't get my head round KDH faking the shot to shift onto his right cos that makes no fxxking sense! Fortunately Mav sorted it.

He doesn't have the reaction speed to know whether to shoot first time or take a touch and just ballses it up.

I think it does in part show that, but the goal came from the tippy tappy stuff. It also ironically came from getting the tippy tappy wrong because Faes mucks up his cross, Norwich try to break out only for Faes to immediately win it back and the whole Norwich defence has moved up slightly for their own failed break. Which means everyone is out of position for the decent ball in from Wilf, nobody is tight and we've got the space to head back and head in as everybody has that little bit of extra space. So it depends on your POV as to whether that goal was scored because of or in spite of the constant controlled passing.

Bit of a bizarre take when you look at their defensive options. Just because they have good players around the rest of the pitch doesn't mean it's a high standard all over, and it certainly isn't in defence. This isn't the golden generation anymore. Their defence is made up of Theate, Debast, De Winter, 36 year old Vertongen, Castagne and Meunier. The fact they still have to wheel out a guy who has retired back to the Jupiler league shows the standard. It's a low bar.

Gonna be weird when Ipswich lose and Leeds get hammered by 3 and we return to the top of the table later....

There's also the element of people knowing how to play against us. In the first half of the season we were better but other teams didn't have a reference of how we'd play under Enzo. Now they can do homework on us, we're easy to figure a gameplan for.
