Yet another manager/head coach shat on by the Lansdowns. You could do a lot worse, as long as you back him (Lansdown didn't). But if your owners want to get the fanbase back onside quickly, the guy in my profile pic is the only choice.

When I was lucky enough to have a couple of beers with him last summer, he was looking to get back in to management, but felt that health wise he was still 12 months away. He still loves our club despite the appalling way he was treated. I get that you might think that he wouldn't work for your owners again, but he has now worked for the Lansdowns, so they may not now seem so bad. I haven't seen him since. I don't know exactly what his plans are now (though we do have a mutual friend that sees him regularly). But I wouldn't be surprised, if there were two clubs he would like to manage again, they would be us under different ownership, and maybe....

Met him in the summer and he reckoned then that he would be ready to go in about twelve months. Maybe his recovery has hastened, I really don't know, but I would love him to go somewhere where he is loved and appreciated after how he was so disgracefully treated by our egotistical, butthurt p****s.

You are not wrong. He definitely prefers rugby. Only got into football because of his useless (treacherous) son. And let's not forget, he was a Bristol Rovers supporter before that. The bloke is an egotistical, narcissistic charlatan.
