But he (probably) didn't get sacked because of the defeat to Seville; he (probably) got sacked because we were crap in the league.
-
I'd agree with this. Everyone can see that, if nothing else, there just has to be a change. The bilious hatred of some on here probably isn't widely shared though, but I doubt you'd find many who don't think it's time he was gone.
-
I'm not having this. There's only one poison dwarf in Leicester's history, and to use that term for anyone else diminishes the utter, utter evil that was Dennis Wise. Nobody compares to that odious little sh*t and nobody ever will.
-
You'd hope so. As I've said before though, if it isn't fantasy then the manager is the least of our problems.
-
Yeah. Maybe they're impressed by how much he's improved Danny Ward over the last four years.
-
No need to be a pottymouth. Swears are for squares.
-
Just can’t see that happening now Really? I can all too easily imagine us losing, myself.

Kasper Schmeichel officially joins Nice

Shouldn't think it was the first opportunity; a decent keeper is always going to be in demand. -
Er, well, yeah, this is what happens when a club becomes one part of a global business empire. Not many (any?) top-flight clubs are still what anyone would have recognised as a football club in the old days.
-
Good line, but it won't be true. (And if it is (it isn't) then there are way bigger problems than who the manager is, and the club is well and truly screwed).
-
Bloody Forest fans.
-
There are some on here who would be angry if we won every remaining game this season* because it would mean Rodgers wouldn't get sacked.** *No, of course I'm not saying I think that could happen. **And no, I'm not saying I don't think he should go.
-
I'm hearing from someone with good contacts with people who know people who have contacts with people who know people with contacts who know someone with contacts at the club that they're hearing rumours that someone thinks he might be gone today or tomorrow or the day after that or another day or maybe not, they're not sure.
-
Well, when asked to name an assistant who was out of their depth when promoted, Craig Shakespeare seemed a fair enough shout tbh!
-
Craig Shakespeare.
-
Speak for yourself.
-
Exactly, so it almost certainly isn't true. And if it were true then whoever the manager is would be the least of our problems.
-
Maybe a small plane, flying a banner saying 'Rodgers out, Top out, Sack the Board?'
-
Yeah, of course. Just suggesting it would hardly be 'appalling' if the club sacked him tomorrow rather than today!
-
What sort of idiot would want a name made out of three former players?
-
Unless he goes tomorrow. Or the day after that. Or any time in the next ten or so days, really.

Up to you, but football is football, it's all the same game, whether it's Premier League, Women's Championship, Conference, pub team, under-12s or some six-year olds playing their first ever 4-a-side. And I've seen some technically awful kids grassroots matches that I've enjoyed far more than some PL ones. Shame you feel the way you do, you're missing out. -

Okay, I might have been over-optimistic. That was exactly like all of last season; look promising enough but then just - well, lose. -
For exactly the same reasons that anyone would leave us like a shot for one of the greedy six, even if they were below us in the league at the time.

Agreed. And it won't be easy. With Birmingham gone simply not finishing bottom is going to be a massive challenge. I agree about Bedford though, she looks like she might be the real deal as a coach, so fingers crossed... Really looking forward to the season tbh!
