I genuinely think we will see a fairly big drop off this time. Depends on what they do with season tickets prices of course.

I think the point about not being able to blood new fans in is an important one. That might be the silver lining to going down in some ways, if there is more space for newer fans. Cov did it on a larger scale with their recent history, now they have a lot of younger fans that contribute to a better atmosphere for them.

But why is that different to other clubs?

Yeah I mean we get utterly laughed at by everyone for using them but it is what it is I guess.

Your last paragraph there is what I’m interested in. Why do we have so many of these types of fans? We aren’t a small club, we should have far More passion and pride for what we have achieved and the standards should be set from that. I know this season it’s utterly horrible but in general we seem to have this soft minded fan more than others do. Maybe I’m wrong but it feels like that.
