  1. I’d rather go to a gig these days, at least you know it’s going to be at least 7/10 if not better. Games barely hold my interest either on TV or in the stadium. There’s no atmosphere, full of tourists at the big clubs, half n half scarf waving entitled fans with their ‘please can I have’ banners. The Football is like Chess. One player dares to take on another, but turns away, passes square, then back. I dare say a lot of people are in a cycle of holding a season ticket purely because they want that emotional attachment to the club, rather than it being something to look forward to, it’s become more about meeting up with a mate for a crap expensive pint, because they’ve done it for the last 10 years, it’s habit and ‘it gets me out of the house’ We live 25 miles away and our short journey home would always be filled with discussion about the game, now there’s just nothing to talk about which says it all about the current state of Football.
  2. Almost 2025 and we’re still talking about Soumare. The guys run about 5km in his entire Leicester career. It feels like he’s been at the club longer than Vardy. Makes Junior Lewis look like Patrick Vieira.
  3. A couple of signed shirts Vardy 17/18 season Shannon O’Brien LCFC women 23/24 And a framed art print of the Champions squad that I bought from an artist somewhere in Hinckley.
  4. I think the premier league in general is quite dull, players having the individuality coached out of them for a start. Wingers rarely beat their man, it’s just not fun. Would even go as far as saying that Vardy is the last great character in the EPL.
  5. I don’t see any reason why it should be any greater than 10% of the stadium size so around 3 to 3,500. Unless the club charges a nominal fee of £5 but then the club makes money from the scheme so it’ll never happen.
  6. I was, but also referring to how over sold the scheme is in general too, they could not satisfy demand for a home ticket if every member wanted one. If people are happy to scrap it out for 60 away tickets with a 0.004% chance of success then good luck to them, my personal opinion is the whole scheme is a farce with very little benefit to the supporter.
  7. I’d prefer to take it back to a time when it wasn’t oversold. Even with 4000 home tickets or whatever it is, you’ve still only got a 1 in 4 chance of getting one if every member wanted to go. The whole scheme is a farce.
  8. 60 away tickets reserved for 15000 members 😂 the scheme is an utter farce.
  9. Mads Huth Izzet Lennon Lineker
  10. If Cooper was a trainer he would be Dunlop green stripe.
  11. Pretty much spot on, Palace showed how easy it was to play between the lines against us. As poor as West Ham and Villa were, we never troubled them. I’ve been making an effort to watch them pre match warming up, standing nearby at the last two away games and they don’t look a happy bunch. CJ Bott was dropped for the last 2 games which again seems an odd move. The play has regressed, and ok we’ve lost Rantala and Mouchon but we also played a fair amount of last season without Petermann and O’Brien anyway. We finished the game Sunday with Thibaud on the left wing, quite why Nevin wasn’t pushed forward with Thibaud at left back is anyone’s guess.
  12. Gave up around the time Rodgers had that outburst after losing 4-1 at Forest in the cup. Amazing to think that some of those players that day are still being paid by the club, Ward, Soumare, Thomas, Vestergaard. Total disconnect between the club and fans now, reinforced further by scandalous out of touch ticket prices and dismal displays with Cooper in the dugout and Rudkin still in work.
  13. No idea on Draper. Petermann is her knee, O’Brien is ankle, Rantala is still in leg brace. Miquel said 2 months but I initially heard it was 4. Agreed, would have been a great opportunity for Draper with these long term absentees.
  14. Walsh Ranieri Vardy Vichai
  15. Not creating anything at all though, I get using Mace and Cayman as a 9 just robs Peter to pay Paul as it were, they are important players in the build, however Goodwin, Cain, Momiki, Rose and Chossonotte should be capable of getting more than 1 shot away in total with Cayman and Mace behind them. I do feel it’s the midfield that lacks, Pelgander isn’t going to figure, Tierney has been poor since that armband went, age is catching up on Janice and Takarada ran backwards v Brighton. Mace does a great job but that midfield is now as light as the defence was last season, and is far too defensive minded.
  16. Hmmm it does say she’s in charge of all operations on the women’s side. From a fans point of view the club haven’t offered subsidised travel this time, so away supporter numbers haven’t increased, attendances at home are very low and KP don’t seem to have any incentive such as like Brighton offered the other week, any season ticket holder could bring a friend for free to the next game. No money has been spent on the playing side, it was half a dozen out, half dozen in, can’t imagine we paid out any fees for the French girls as they were most likely on youth terms. Mace and Ale free, Kees from Leuven and Swaby who appeared out of nowhere. It all feels very flat, and on the playing side it’s regressed after Kirk’s departure, women still aren’t backing women’s Football in any great number, but at Leicester it just feels like we’re ticking a box right now.
  17. Everton will always be in Liverpool’s shadow. Scousers are angry at everything from the Royals to the Sun Newspaper. As for us, a lot of the angry mob can’t afford to go so come to places like FoxesTalk to vent. There’s also a whole new generation of the happy family of four, fans since 2016, that would invite the likes of Rudkin and Whelan to Tarquins or Jemimas 9th birthday party.
  18. I understand we aren’t going to unearth the next superstar however 2 goals in 7 games and a bench full of kids says it’s worth a look.
  19. Fair comment but also poor signings, Mouchon looked good pre season but as soon as the season began she looked lethargic. Chossonotte should be nowhere near the first team. Ale poor last season on loan but signed. Swaby hardly used, Kees and Mace not doing too badly. Should be booting Rudkins door asking for a couple of free transfers to come in on short term deals. The old guard of Howard, Tierney and Bott look like they are being overcoached, I don’t see any individuality or identity to the play. Maybe it is being disrupted by injury but there’s just not a good feel about anything, the players look despondent pre match. I’m led to believe they are quite a strong unit and not frightened of voicing opinions, maybe something will give because I can’t see us winning in the league this side of Christmas now.
  20. Just on the way back, utter sh1te again, follow the process is all I keep hearing from Miquel. What process? Clueless and out of her depth at this level, get her gone.
  21. If you are talking about the Leicester Road stadium, it would certainly be a good fit for the crowd however it has to be a certain standard, the car park isn’t great and think the Landlord would probably want a million quid to use it!
  22. Spot on, our midfield is light regardless of injuries, Pelgander hasn’t set the world alight and there’s only Takarada now that Tierney is out. I’d try Rose and Goodwin on the wings and Chossonotte as striker, with Momiki behind her, I think that is all we have left as forward players! Im heading down to West Ham, was hoping Miquel would have picked someone up on a free, the bench will be interesting today, full of kids I guess.
  23. I did, £41 in the seats in fact but to take my son to old Trafford as he had never been, we were regulars at Leicester until they started demanding £50 to £70
