  1. Anyone got 1 or 2 tickets? Looking to get last game in before moving away again.👍
  2. Soumare better than alot of us give him credit for
  3. If this is a tough game i’ve got a real worry for this season. No one online got us going up and I see it as crazy, this game should tell us at least something.
  4. Short- Twitter legs
  5. I agree, and maybe we were at the stage at one point to start recruiting experienced ‘win now’ players. But, the market now very much calls for- for a team like us anyway, to buy young or unknown talent, and give them a couple of years to develop, they show some promise- and go to Chelsea for 80 mill. We can afford to give young players game time, there’s no book that says we have to play Ayew, or go and sign a Bamford, who yes they might score enough goals for us next season. But season after they are only good enough to compete in the Bottom half or relegation zone. Maybe Kone takes a year and comes out the other end a Toney or Delap and bangs them in?
  6. Agreed, goals and POTY in L1. He’s only just turned 22 and like everyone noted, has not been brought up in a Pro Academy, so very much in a stage of lots of learning and development. No brainer for me, either we go this route of signing a Young striker with tremendous upside, or we sign a ‘proven’ PL striker who will no doubt be deadwood in 2 years think Fatawu vs Ayew Bobby Reid and Coady. Think the Model has to go back to what got us success, signing unknown players in the Pearson Era. Look at Brighton.
  7. I agree, for me its which one(both young and need development) is more likely to play, I think if we go into the season with our current crop of strikers, Evans will rarely get a look in. With Ayew and Daka😷 Getting a look in. However if we get Kone, I think he will see way more minutes, with more development and improvement happening. The priority for me is getting Minutes to the youth when possible, as of right now, we have the Experience and quality to out-do a lot of Championwhip teams.
  8. Can’t remember the last time there was no deadwood in this club. Striker has to be priority.. Surely. Sure Ayew might score, but with the opportunity to get Kone in and some good games in the tank, for only 5 million. No brainer surely?

    Daka

    same vibe
  10. Awesome Attacking Mid under Enzo tho
  11. Think he scored 16 in first 28 or something, then when Dodds came in changed style of play to a less 'football playing' system, only scored 2 goals for rest of season. (Edit- Just seen this was said by someone else after I was scrolling)
  12. That midfield of Ndidi Tielemans Madders was one of the best in PL for a while... Good memories. Fall from grace. Ndidi great servant good player and always tried, wish him the best
  13. Drove the ball well numerous times imo
