No one is defending it, it's just best to ignore it. I was completely baffled by people being offended by this, but to go up a level and say it makes it a worrying experience due to gestures really is stretching it.

doesn't bother me, i'm a member with 4 away points, i still get a ticket and go so that's all that matters -
I remember our own fans doing it to Leeds fans many moons ago
-
some group tried it again yesterday which i'd forgotten about

I see the same old faces are moaning about our away support, but where I was stood in the upper tier, just to the left of the goal our support was great. although some choice of songs was questionable, ie the Fatawu song was on repeat due to it being the latest "buzz" tune, where i was it was pretty much non stop singing. fair few younger doughnuts proved they couldn't handle booze first thing in the morning, lad behind me was steaming, didn't shut up and got just about every song wrong, and even at one point got the teams mixed up and started going mad when we didn't just whack it in the box, when it was millwall attacking. very enjoyable day and getting into this weird habit when the football doesn't even spoil it

Sorry but I have exactly the same sentiments as I did with the fella trolling the Ipswich fans. Ignore it. How people are upset and offended over it I’ll never know. Not only that some people grassed and even on here calling for prison, which I seriously hope is a wind up. I’ve seen people try to claim I’m a WUM (sado’s) but I’m not fishing, said exactly the same thing in the pub at London Bridge with my mates yesterday

If you really want to go you can always get tickets. So far this season West Brom is the only game I’ve not managed to get a ticket, and even then I was offered 1 last minute but it was too late -

nonsense, you can always get tickets if you really want one. play by the rules and pay the price and don't go -
by a fat bloke on the pitch in a string vest? it was a cracking day and police lost total control for a few minutes and were seriously flapping
-
who ever told you this please never speak to them again. safest ground in the country, especially if on the club bingo buses. go walking about Bermondsey looking for it wearing the gear and being mobbed up then you'll find it, but other than that, as no one would be doing that anyway, you'll be fine

one thing that gets overlooked is that often he had Barnes in front of him not putting in the slightest bit of effort helping defend and he often had 2 men to deal with. the clearest example of that was the 1st goal forest scored in the 4-1 fa cup match. doesn't fit with what Enzo wants though so sell him anywhere for me

we don't need stuff like coaches, just a simple relay hopper bus belting into town and back. edgbaston cricket do something similar and works a treat. town has that frog bus going round which no one knows exist so why not do something similar for the football? SAS style, in and out no fuss

this will fly..

How many are we likely to get for this? Going to take my nephew

Cardiff away - 29th December (7.45pm)

Assume you got the tickets no problem and enjoyed the game? -
At least that shitty “we’ve got the ball” song hasn’t been aired much since Burton

Although Ipswich I couldn’t do due to having a wife it was good to get the old Honda Jazz out for a spin at Cardiff. Got me out of the Xmas slump and with not a huge amount of games in January it was a much needed fix

I honestly can’t work out the purpose of this thread and what the initial Twitter exchange has to do with any of us. It is always incredibly sad when someone dies, especially when young, and it certainly is wrong and pathetic to mock that. That person doesn’t represent me though, or my football club, he only represents himself. I don’t associate myself with any comments like that so not for me or the club to apologise on that person’s behalf. Trolls like this always know what they’re doing and getting all the attention on Twitter and a 4 page thread on a forum is exactly what they want. Ignoring people like that is the best way to stop them as they’d soon get bored in their echo chamber.

this was posted elsewhere "Shout out to the sheep and… other thing being thrown around towards the left of the away end". I think we all saw what that was but did anyone see the flat cap. saw 1 lad launch someone elses which made me chuckle and the reaction was just but they all disappeared after so not sure what happened, but saw a cap fly around and also a random photo with one on my mates head. anyone know what happened after that as don't know why but the silly things do make me laugh

ahh was hoping they'd been discussions regarding making it better for fans getting to our ground, like shuttle busses in and out to/from town. If there were any decent pubs near the ground i wouldnt begrudge the walk so much
-
can you elaborate more on this, we talking home games?
-
As I’m not allowed on the atmosphere thread due to some hurty words this is great. To sell out all those games over a short period is dedication and great support. Last night was great, although agree with the left side right side cringe fest, knock it off. Only gripe I had was the idiots around me moaning, even when we went 1 nil up. Please don’t come if you hate what we do. My heart sank when I realised the prat who’d annoyed me on a monumental level the last 2 home games and single handed made sure I never go in sk4 again was stood in front of me. Big question for me now is will Preston give us anywhere near the tickets Leeds got and will we flood it, let’s hope so

Middle of the night there was some as it changed to ‘coming soon’ but as a member I couldn’t see the details. I’d keep checking back regularly as sure the odd one will appear
