  1. The positive to take from it all is that at least he's a better CB than Coady
  2. We're going to be stuck with Stolarczyk in net for the rest of the season
  3. Enzo won't come, but I'm backing him over anyone in the playoffs. Its not even a debate comparing him to anyone else in this league. Maresca does not finish lower than 6th if he's in charge. To think otherwise, is simply disrespectful and is the mindset of those that like to do Maresca revisionism. The man has won 3 trophies in two years.
  4. Can he bring Sven Botman with him I fear whoever Lascelles' partner will be here will drag him down to their level. I hope I'm wrong and Lascelles improves whoever he gets paired with, not the other way round. Seriously need a leader at Centreback. Never want to see Vestergaard or Faes again.
  5. We will end up in the same spot as the season before. Back in the prem without a manager and without a pot to piss in. End up panicking and appointing Steve Cooper 2.0 and the cycle repeats.
  6. WE ARE F***ED MATE Worst part is Top has came out and publicly said he's not willing to sell the club unless an Arab prince is the buyer in his interview.
  7. Ruud had no managerial experience in this country whereas Carrick we have to give him credit for the job he did at Middlesbrough. Looking at the underlying statistics last season, Carrick had them well coached and it came down to the issue of the Middlesbrough players not finishing their chances. Rather than a tactical problem. Carrick also helped rebuild Middlebrough to what it is today, leaving them in a much better place to where they were when he came in.
  8. Yes, this is exactly my point. Though sometimes I like to keep it short and concise. The thing with Cifuentes and QPR was also about dealing with the pressure and expectations. Some of the statements he was making in press conferences was as if he was still at QPR.
  9. I won't name names but when Michael Carrick was suggested to replace Cifuentes some were saying he's crap! Look at what he's done in a matter of days already. United fans think they're on a title charge.
  10. Was going to say the only reason the odds are so high is because Winks spunked his entire 100k per week wage on Maresca on Sky Bet.
  11. Success as in good player, not literally a success. In terms of your second point, the next problem that arises when it comes to unearthing gems is in todays day and age you must operate on a data driven model. So its really a non-starter under our structure, I'm not sure Rudkin can even operate the newest version of his Windows PC. When it comes to club structure and recruitment, the times have moved on and Leicester City is still stuck in the medieval times, decisions being made like its an italian mafia.
  12. Our two last succeses were Bilal El Khannous and Fatawu. BEK a player with experience in European competitions and the U21 World Cups. Promising talent. Fatawu a player from Sporting CP, a Champions League team. A club that is also known for churning out talent. The harsh reality is the hit rate on finding an absolute gem for the price of a house in Beaumont Leys in 2026 is a lot lower than it was a decade ago.
  13. I absolutely don't want to sign players on big wages. Nor do I say we should only buy from Big 6 clubs. I believe in looking at a variety of markets, HOWEVER in this case specifically Sheffield Wednesday is not the market we should be looking at. If said player had the potential to go to the top, he would have been scooped up a few years ago. I remember seeing him play the last time we were in the Championship. Regarding Cifuentes, it wasn't just the fact he was from QPR. It was also what exactly did he do there that was deserving of this job? I'm asking these questions because our owner and board of directors clearly don't ask themselves these same questions before buying players or hiring managers.
  14. Love the complete avoidance of understanding the magnitude of difference between Harrods and Sheffield Wednesday. Almost like there is nothing in between! We're in this mess because we keep buying crap players and you're advocating for the purchase of more crap players.
  15. Yeah mate, thats exactly what we need. A sheffield wednesday player.
  16. Never would I have thought the day would come that I hoped Kristiansen would be fit to start, but Luke Thomas has truly done that.
  17. Pep looks absolutely finished, Maresca will be going to MCFC.
  18. You're not walking into Man City after finishing midtable in the Championship with Leicester City.
  19. I actually can't believe it, the only redeeming quality of Faes and Vestergaard is their ability to pass the ball. Otherwise they both are completely shocking defenders. If what you're saying is true about Lascelles, its going to be a breath of fresh air to have a CB who can actually defend.
  20. Its obviously Ekitike, no questions about it.
  21. You forgot Hermansen Mukasa, Lascelles, Aribo, Hermansen
  22. Mahrez won the treble the following year.
  23. You think Man City will still hire him if he relegated us to League 1? His career would be on the line to win the playoffs and get to the FA Cup Semi Final at minimum if he wants to come out with his rep untarnished.
  24. 34 year old Mahrez vs 39 year old Vardy, I know who I'm taking.
  25. 34 year old Mahrez with no legs would genuinely be the best player we've had in the last 4 years
