  1. At the same time the 3 the season before are currently in the top half
  2. I'm actually suprirsed how much he moans at Leicester, it was the complete opposite at Forest
  3. I was really suprised with how you guys set up. We never played like that under Cooper, and I can't believe he left both of our wingers 1 v 1 with your fullbacks. Hudson Odoi & Elanga had both of them on toast, every team doubles up on Hudson Odoi because he normally does that if you don't. Cooper should know this as he was the one that signed him. I think that was where the game was won even though they weren't really involved in the goals. You can only leave the wingers 1 v 1 at this level if they are elite at 1 v 1 defending, we can do it with Aina but not the other side. Cooper has seemingly never learnt this, he would leave Brennan Johnson up the pitch with Neco Williams getting skinned most games. It was probably worth it because Brennan consistently delivered but it hurt us defensively.
  4. I can't comment on Puel but Nuno's football has been suprisingly entertaining at Forest. Well it depends. 60 minutes of it are an absolute snoozfest, a game is hardly ever not 0-0 at half time. But past the 60 minute mark the games almost always turn into pure entertainment which is definitely by design.
  5. The exact same thing happened at Forest - only with Andre Ayew! He was a very unpopular player amongst the fans, he didn't really do anything wrong when he was on the pitch but he was just the opposite of what we needed. Cooper absolutely adores the Ayew family.
  6. Just to give you some respective as a Forest fan, Cooper could never crack Premier League midfields at this level. I think it is what killed him at Forest, I can barely remember a single game where our midfield won a battle whilst he was in charge and we went through a lot of good midfielders so I am seeing a lot of familiar complaints that we had. We came up playing attacking football and got crucified so he just went to his low block football. (remember that 4-0 win you guys had against us? That pretty much spelt the end of getting lots of players forward as Maddison just had so much space that game) You can look at it as a positive or negative but Cooper will always adapt the system/style to the players he has. If you don't have players capable of playing a certain type of football he won't do it. He isn't an Enzo that has a set way of playing which is rare in the modern game for better or for worse i'll let you guys decide. I watched you against Spurs & it was a mirror image of us under Cooper, we spent most of the game very passive but something just happens in a game which gets you going. I am not convinced you care about my thoughts about Cooper but for me he was so niave at PL level - he got a lot of leeway others wouldn't have had based on how he got us promoted. He did have a difficult job here because we signed loads of players but he was a driving force behind that recruitment.
