any final confirmation yet?

Praying it's on. Combine this potential plane banner w the fact that "unite for change" are tryna get people to surround reception after full time and the penny would finally drop for nepo boy aiyawatt that its not only "bad cop" rudkin we want out, it's more importantly him we want out. 2 things in one day. Would not be surprised if he left the premises early to avoid those being vocal.
-
potentially. that is very basic but effective and reduces any ambiguity in any message. people continuously chant against Rudkin but we know what the real issue is.
-
Yea that’s what I was thinking. And I have seen banners when we play away sometimes. Definitely easier to get em in. If the message on the banner isn’t disrespectful then they surely have no right to follow it up.
-
Myself and a mate of mine were planning on taking a banner to Pompey on Saturday. I assume you can't get banned for taking a banner into another club's away end surely. I hope I'm not but maybe I'm being thick and they would go to indescribable lengths to identify the person holding such a banner.

Didn't this guy (Jim) have a thread in which everyone was praising him, if my memory serves me correctly?
-
We'll start with your initial suggestion of just eyeballing them then for 90 mins haha. See how much wiggle room we've got then gradually ramp it up until Jim warns us all.
-
Yeah definitely, I myself have avoided giving them my money. I wouldn't say the West Ham thing has made absolutely no difference for them btw. It's attracted more numbers to that movement over the years as seen this season with the "No more BS Campaign". More and more of their fans have actively engaged with that. It's a marathon not a sprint. I think our situations are slightly different. We're just on a downward trajectory ever since some of us have actively wanted KP out. West Ham though since they turned on their owners have had a conference league success embedded in there and a good run in the europa league. That imo helped their ownership paper over fundamental cracks massively and divert a lot of heat from people like David Sullivan. Whereas our ownership don't have that or any on pitch success CURRENTLY to use as an excuse and divert away any stick received from the fanbase. Of course some of us want KP out, but I personally think it'll take a while to get there which is why I think individual events like these would hold value because ultimately it does add up over time and continues the momentum which is crucial. It's not a change which will occur overnight. Again I think it's a marathon not a sprint, so I think it would be beneficial. It's all about building momentum and getting more people on board with it. That's our biggest issue atm. There is a huge divide. Need more people on board for the greater good of the club.
-
Yeah that's the issue. If it becomes clear that Aiyawatt is at a game then it would be great if like-minded fans could collectively unite and express disgruntlement directly towards those sitting in those seats above. 100 or so like-minded fans who actually care about the greater good of the football club in my eyes are more powerful than an army full of "Jim the real city fan".
-
All I said was what they did was brilliant. Made those above feel as unwelcome as possible. That for them it seems was a bit of a turning point and was a catalyst for gathering momentum. I wouldn't say as a fanbase we've even remotely directly expressed the same level of disgruntlement yet towards those in charge. That was the point I was trying to get at. And we've had a significantly larger fall from grace ffs. The fact they have the same ownership isn't very relevant to the point I am making. It's about making them realise and feel as unwelcome and unwanted at our club as possible. I just feel we haven't done that yet very effectively. I am not saying this is what will make them sell, of course not. What follows in the future could prove to be a trigger for that, who knows. In an ideal world, I see it as a starting point. The protests are good but I sometimes think to myself this is having little effect on those above which is why I think we are still at square 1. A more direct approach is required.
-
Agreed. This is what we need now. I went to the protest pre Norwich game and yeah it was loud and vocal but when there's none of the hierarchy to direct disgruntlement towards it does kinda decrease the effect of the protest. Going to the west stand seats and showing even a fraction of hostility would be more effective. In my opinion, it has to be at a game where Aiyawatt is there. My expectations of him are extremely low but I do feel that he will be at one of our final two home games. Surely. What West Ham did in 2017 I think it was, if we could get even a fraction of that it would be brilliant. Sadly our fanbase is full of KPFC loyalists and nowhere near as vocal as West Ham's, but if we could generate a scene even remotely similar to what West Ham had then it would be perfect. Would require swift organisation though as time is running out this season. Most definitely the best option though and best way of getting through to them. What West Ham did back then should be an example of what we need to do. Like you mate I am baffled as to why people haven't caught onto this yet.

Ultimately another wasted transfer. Part of me feels bad for him because he's been unlucky but he didn't exactly help himself with that red card earlier in the season. Literally ruled himself out of contention.
-
Mine just arrived now
-
Has anyone at all received these tickets yet?
-
ffs no jj again
-
ref is wank
-
hopefully boro turn up against them at home asw
-
cov away though, if pompey were at home then yea i'd be more worried
-
oxford win is not okay. they still have sheffield wednesday at home i'm pretty sure. they are more likely to get 3 points in that compared to us today away against wednesday.
-
how though? oxford have an easier run in than portsmouth?
-
exactly
-
idk about that. oxford have more favourable fixtures than portsmouth and also we still play portsmouth but already played oxford twice.
-
that is bad. feel like they are gonna get another now with at least 40 mins to go. hope i'm wrong obviously but pompey needed to hold out a bit longer
