I hope I am being pessimistic here. If the EFL give us a transfer embargo, we might actually be forced to keep him. Vards is off. Edouard is off. We sold cannon in Jan. Obviously it is hypothetical but the thought of it is just making me angry. Shambles that we are in positions like these.
-
anyone know if this cifuentes stuff actually has legs to it? QPR fans seem to think so
-
In fairness they got it right last time w enzo in the champ. Can only hope. With multiple clubs looking for managers though, and us seemingly being stuck w RVN until the new financial year, we may be at a huge disadvantage.
-
I see a situation where we are left with limited options. West Brom, Norwich and Southampton all looking for new managers. We've still got RVN. Dyche and/or Rohl will get picked up I'd assume. Russel could go Norwich but that is a good thing imo. The board clearly interested in him though. Fabregas seems unrealistic. Which leaves Lee Carsley from the names we've heard. Doesn't fill me w much confidence. Looking bleak already ffs.
-
once again though we have shot ourselves in the foot. RVN apparently isn't leaving unless he gets compensation so that would probs indicate that he'll be here by June still, by which point Rohl will probably have been picked up by another team (e.g Southampton). Knowing our board asw they will probably only begin the search once RVN leaves. Clowns. West Brom could easily enquire about Dyche. We really aren't helping ourselves, we never do. Got no optimism whatsoever that the frauds upstairs will get the right manager in and quickly.

used to play for them asw i think. makes logical sense for them to make that move so hopefully it gathers pace.

Yep. This is the culture, the mentality. Absolutely embarassing. -

Aiyawatt actively employs Rudkin and will continue to do so for god knows how long. By doing this, Aiyawatt himself is becoming the problem. Baffles me how people fail to realise this or insulate themselves from the reality as they view Aiyawatt as some sort of saviour.
-
Has to be king power out atp. Like mentioned previously, the ambiguity of the current message will be enough for Aiyawatt to deflect the issue to anything else but his running of the football club.
-
Thing is though, so what if it doesn’t go down well with the rest of the fanbase? (opting for the “King Power Out” line) Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I would understand if people who have already donated to the go fund me being unhappy about opting for “King Power out” and preferring to stick with “Premier Ambitions, Amateur decisions” because that’s what they initially donated towards. But imo, the rest of the fanbase can’t be annoyed at us for having our own opinion. They have their opinions and choices too (like clapping off the players after shit performances week in week out). The majority of us behind this cause probably do not agree with that choice and opinion.
-
Yep. Top actively employs this guy. He is literally asking for this downfall ffs.

Chelsea 1-0 LCFC, post match thread

Average imo. The least we should expect from the boys. We've become so accustomed to such piss poor performances to the point where some genuinely think today was a good performance. Today was not good or bad. We didn't create too much and were pretty solid defensively. One thing we learnt from today tho is that VK is not it. Luke Thomas is better imo. -

Spot on mate. Was stood in second tier too and it just exposed how tactically poor we are. -
There were people genuinely clapping him off (around me at least) , nothing sarcastic about it. Standards for some are in the bin at this football club. Happy with mediocrity.
