I gave up my season ticket after we got relegated in 2023, only because I was going away for University and could not afford to keep it up. I have not a single desire to get that back once I graduate and move home to Leicester, I feel so disconnected and I get it, I have not seen some of the other worst times for the club but this is the worst it’s ever been in my lifetime. I’m over football, other sports have my interests for the first time in my life and even when the teams I support are bad, at least I get some joy out of it. I get no joy from watching Leicester play. I’m done with watching us until Top finally is gone, he’s destroyed any love I had for us

BBC RL reading out some tweets of people with similar feelings - I’m hoping this is the reality check some fans needed. We are not invincible, we are not able to turn this around Great Escape style where we sneak 1-0 wins every week. We are absolutely a shell of our former selves and this is who we are - we are a League One side. All I can say about the lack of a crowd is good. Even if some people didn’t turn up because of the cold, even if some didn’t go because of the boycott, it’s still sending a message to those in charge: fans won’t bother to come even when it’s ****ing freezing like they have done in the past to watch this shite. Last weeks incident in the away end that I was unfortunate enough to watch unfold really solidified my opinion about supporting this weeks boycott and that we are a club crumbling at our very feet. Not even my dad who even when he doesn’t feel up to games still goes didn’t go today, he stayed home. I hope Top is watching this empty stadium right now but he’s probably not, he’s probably out on a ****ing horse playing a shit game of polo. When it’s literally snowed right before games we’ve still pulled more of a crowd than we have tonight. Also glad to see that the KPFC lot have got their singing voices out tonight because they really make a difference to this atmosphere!
