We can't run the club within the league rules. Sack the board.

Incredible graveyard signing. Glover is a scouting genius. There is no other club on this planet. Southampton is the ceiling.

Its a forum for football debate, grow
I’ve tried to diffuse this in my previous repsonses. I have an opinion, and so do you. Perhaps, you may need to 'grow up', and understand that this forum is not just for debating.

Motm is a bit strong. He had a decent game for one of his first appearances but he missed his header for their first goal and some of the clearances weren't great. But thats to be expected at this stage. I'm sure he will be a good player for us in time.
You have you opinion, good for you. Wondering if you are going to rebuttle this comment too.

Let's not go overboard just yet. It was charlton at home and they were already cruising. I do like how he drives forward with the ball though. Just needs to bulk up a bit over the next couple of years and we might have a first team player.
Let's not under play the MOTM performance either.

Who scouted this guy. He doesn't look good in possession. A few video clips show that. I just don't feel comfortable when he has the ball.

Wow. Great game. Incredible anticipation, defending, moving the ball forward. I had no idea he was that good. A real deal.

You cant say the M word on this forum you'll get banned🤣🤣🤣
You're still on here, after using the M word. So not sure where you got that from.

I wish the club acted sooner. I wanted Martin O'Neill for that running through a brick wall mentality.
I want the club to shift its focus on getting the best out of the resources.
Not try and force possession football, just because it's trendy.
I will happily accept anyone, that has no association with Spanish football. If you have eaten Paella, then you're not coming in.
I'm so fed up with the current cycle of managers.
Let's go elite manager. Emma Hayes, Sarina Wiegman
-
I want someone that has no associations with Spanish football. No reference to Cryuff. In fact, if they even flown over Spain, they should be rejected instantly.
I want a coach that has a track record of getting the best out the resources. Simple forward passing direct football please.

It's more damaging keeping him on.
If you can't sack him. At least put him on gardening leave. He has been there before.
Let's him grow something else. Because he definitely can't plant a footballing seed.
He can take the Spanish football ideology with him too.
Hate his football. Bring back the 90s aggressive, fast flowing energy.

How much financial trouble must we be in to allow Marti to continue.
Can't sack a manager with a terrible record.
Someone send a pigeon to Top, with current position, games lost, work rate, and the clean sheet record.

Russell Martin would be a far better option than this useless tool.
No thanks. I don't want another Spanish system, clone artist.
Any manager that can motivate their players please. Go back to the, 'players win games, not tactics' mentality.

Ricky P wasnt great but he the violent head shaking as he walked past Marti as he came off suggests he is as fed up as the rest of us
He is always shaking his head. At fault for the first. I ain't no Marti fan, but he has been poor this season.

We have a love affair with soft goals.
Playing out the back once again, thinking we are some Spanish super giants.
Ricardo at fault for the first.
Momentum just changed after that.
You could tell Wright was going to score, the minute he stood on the sidelines. He had that aura, of strikers instincts.
When Fatwu, Ayew and Mavididi get the ball. I just expect nothing to happen. I mean, what are the odds of making so many wrong decisions.

Are they the same owners, developing a generation of talent, as those that couldn’t organise a night in a brewery?
A spade is a spade. I see what I see, and at this moment in time, you could be rubbish at a job, and actually get some work done.

This guy is winning me over. Well done, great composure and a real asset. Hopefully we can get a decent return on that incredible investment.

Definitely the pick of the bunch for me also. Great work from the youth setup to develop a generation of talent. It's nice to see the young guns mixing it.

the stats for us this season dont lie
24th for distance covered
23rd for errors leading to goals
22nd for sprints
21st for clean sheets(not had one of them in 20 games)
20th for xg conceded
19th for big chances created
yeah it isnt good enough one single bit
Incredible how bad this reads.
I want him to do well, but he is a very poor coach.
Can't defend. Can't attack. Can't even run.

Based on the poll above. My guesstimation is
1 in 6, will go. These, either don't believe in the boycott or need a wife get of jail card. So that makes roughly 5K. Give or take gifted tickets, day out, and fans that didn't get the memo. Maybe 3K.
Would you consider, anything less that 9K good?
-
I did have a blind spot for Luke.
Maybe because he came through the youth system.
Yesterday was a very poor performance from him.
Sorry LT, you have lost a fan.

Do we have a game plan just seems to be a few side way passes then a long ball.
Taking short goal kicks only fir jakub to launch it 3 passes later
That is the game plan. As long as we follow Pep Ball. These guys can't play the system. Just not good enough. We have a coach that is way out of his depth.
-
Awful performance. No energy and heart.
Pass the ball around, and float a ball into opposition box.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

The Pepball experiment is over. Almost 8 years of decline.
We need a complete reset. Play the league, like the position we are in currently. A lower Championship side. And going even lower.
I want a young, up and coming manager with an incredible low league record.
Someone on here mentioned Dave Challinor.
Yes please.
