Slow start again. They just can't get going from minute 1. It's like waiting to counter punch.
Some really nice interplay though. I like the progress we are making.

Soumare gets picked an awful lot by managers despite the performances, really unusual player.
hope we win
I think he gets alot of stick on here. Some awful performances in the past. These managers see something, we haven't yet. Good luck to him. Hope he does well.
Between Skipp and Soumare. I go with Soumare.

Slow start again. Its becoming a bit of a theme. Marti, is very good at reading the play and adapting to the situation. I just wish he could use some of that spirit at the beginning of the game.

Why is it when we go down, we look like 9 against 11. Whenever I see the opposition lose a man. Thry make us work for it.
Also. Why do all our players look like they are running on quick sand.

I am sure he will come good at some point in his career.
I'm not a fan, as he needs to develop his end product. Maybe a change of system might help. Great engine, and has that aura about him.
I bet that deal is this, and next year's PSR pivot.
He doesn't half get mardy though.

This guy looks like the jigsaw piece we have been calling out for.
Right age, physical attributes, technique and intelligence.

He has the attributes to have a great career. He is still very raw. His decision making and execution needs work. Hope we can sell him for the price quoted, and fear we buy some dud from Spurs or Southampton in exchange.

These people are supposed to be professional scouts, management or senior management. Living football at the very least, a working level. I'm baffled, how they thought this was a good deal.
When we signed him, it just did not makes sense. Majority of people on here were like. What, huh, why?
Football is more athletic, than its ever been. How can you look at Skipp, and think 20+ million is fair game.
Cooper suggested the player. But someone negotitated that fee. This alone should be sackable, performance based offense. The persons that did, is still probably at the club. Let that sink in for a moment.

Positive and negative emotions on this one. I like him, athletic and has an eye for goal.
He did put some poor performances in recently. But KM at Ipswich will get the best out of him.
If it wasn't for PSR, I'd have kept him over about 8 other players.
-
Just because he is new, doesn't make him immune to criticism. We haven't been at the races the first half of all 3 games. We have a collection of individual players with poor system and execution.
This time around the opposition teams seem to out muscle and outwork us. Physically winning duels and direct passing through the channels.
I was expecting a heavy tweak to the way we play. Marti talks a good game about attacking with intent in every interview.
I do like how he sees problems and the changes are quite effective. Perhaps he could make the changes from minute one, instead of forty six.

Any chance we can attack Marti. The stuff you keep spewing in every interview.

Still waiting for this Marti attack rhetoric to play out.

Rubbish. His one child has only just been born so school isn’t an issue at all! Even if he was allowed to live where he wants because of extended family it’s incumbent upon him to be where he’s wanted and at the time required!
Likewise, in such a job as his, it’s not unreasonable for him to be asked to stay in the equivalent of a 5 star hotel overnight once a fortnight to save travelling and be fresh to do his job properly as well as team bonding issues. He’s being paid £80,000+ a bloody week for Christ's sake the big selfish baby! I wasn’t earning half of that a year and I managed it with 2 kids, travelling to different parts of the country with extended hours and overnight stops. It’s what normal people do to earn a living let alone any loyalty to the job. I don’t know why people try to make excuses for the pampered little shit!
Somehow you missed the main point, and went on an emotional spin. Winks may have it written in his contract to drive from home. If he is being asked to do something outside an agreement, then he is well within his rights to say no. Simply, we just don't know for sure. I'm not even a Winks fan. This isn't an excuse, its just alternative view. Relax man. Have a Kit Kat perhaps.

This never made any sense though. If time away from the family was the reason he refused to stay overnight at the club, why was he purposely choosing to spend so many hours driving?
If spending time with the family was priority, you'd buy a house 10 minutes from Seagrave.
But saying 'I refuse to spend an extra 12-14 hours at Seagrave I have a young child' whilst simultaneously choosing to spend somewhere around that amount of time driving every week, the maths were not mathing and it came across as an easy excuse. Move to Leicestershire, live 10 minutes away, problem solved.
Maybe he didn't want to relocate his family. School, extended family, businesses etc.
What if he has it in his contract to stay where he is. And suddenly RVN told him to get to Segrave on X day.
We don't really know anything. What I do see however is, HW looks unhappy.

Can't wait to see us attack the way Marti makes out in every interview.
We look disjointed and slow from the start.
Pens were awful.
Page and Monga were my picks tonight.

Can someone help me with what he did last year please?
I thought he was asked to stay over one night. And he declined.
Maybe he has a contractual agreement. And RVN wanted him to adjust.
Maybe Winks had a family issue.

Is it realistic for us to convince brighton and Evan Ferguson to re ignite his career with us on loan ?
Yes please.

Like someone mentioned, the club using media to sound out the candidate. Rohl doesn't seem like its happening. Otherwise we would have got him by now. Out the other 3 option. GON, by a country mile.

Yeah, I don't understand it. Some sort of Southampton fetish. #sacktheboard

If its RM, I'm gonna jump off a cliff. Move away from this stupid system. Game has changed, and we are always bloody 2 furlongs behind.
-
The game is changing. It's so obvious that we need to shift our style of play. Why are we always 5 years behind.
Can't believe I'm saying this. But i rather keep RVN than get RM.

Was he reading that off a script???
It looks that way. I'd have done the same too. Can't, not expect the G.O.A.T to not score.
-
Unbelievable to get a point out of that one. We are awful, and the tree huggers have lost their flow. RVN needs to be binned off as soon as PSR allows. The only way we know how to attack is cross the ball in the box. The goals today, were player directed.

Urs Fischer.
Available.
Done at great job at Union Berlin.
Brought low, developed and sold for high fees.
Got them playing with an organised defence, good build up play and fast attack transitions on the break. Suited to the en vogue style of football.
Experience in management, won trophies and players rave about his man management.
Come on JR get it done.
Before this post. I knew nothing about UF. After 2min reading, can someone get a piegeon out to him, and give him an open invite to take the job.
