Simple equation. Allow non-footballing defenders to Pep ball. And that's the result. Wonder how many soft goals we have given this season.

I missed the game as out, anyone fancy reliving their misery and saying what I missed?
QPR came direct, strong and used the pitch and conditions to their advantage. They were compact and coiled uo the pitch through the middle. Meanwhile, we are trying to replicate Barcelona and cant figure out another way to attack. A blindly floated ball in the box, will do it.

Honestly I have no idea what happend and how.
What I did learn was. If Leicester were 1 nil up, we would be tapping the ball around at the back, inviting the opposition.
The love affair with Pep ball continues, 4-1 down, and we are trying to win possession stats.
Fair play to the opposition. They did the homework. QPR were not afraid to play another system. Which ultimately is getting the best out the players.

Super performance from Skippy
Looks like an Endomorph, body type
I wonder how he would performe if he was a little leaner.
-
Great performance. Much more direct.
Not surprised, the minute we try and tap the ball around the back, we let one in.

A 90 minute performance, would be nice.
Less possession based football, and more direct play please.

Keep him there. The current manager can't get a tune out of any player, let alone a young one. Unless he likes to pass sideways and back, the system might not even be suitable for him.

My Preston supporting mate can’t understand why we let Iversen go. Says he’s having a blinder of a season with them
Because he couldn't kick the ball apparently.
We are trying to clone Pep ball, so who cares whether he,
can save the ball from going into the net.

MC just isn't getting the best out of the players we have.
League position tells us, we are below LCFC average.
Poor attacking and defending.
Players look unfit or overworked in training.
Odd substitutions and team selection.
Unfortunately, we hired a coach that can talk a good game but doesn't know how to implement it.

I really want him to turn things around, but I have seen no evidence so far.
Even an idiot like me, can see that tactics have evolved.
We are still trying to Pep our way with last seasons trend.
Fast, direct, and aggressive football please.

The only reason why we improved, was because we abandoned this love affair with Pep ball. Marti Out. Martin In.
I am interested in aggressive, forward thinking football.
Any more than 3 sideway passes, means you're out the team.
We don't have the talent.

Martin O'Neil once Celtics permanent manager is sorted? I know it's a bit desperate.... But.... We could do worse.
Steady the ship until the technical director lands....
Just abolished the current system. Players win matches not tactics. Use his motivation skills, just to stay in the league. Reassess the situation in the Summer.
-
Why this obsession with possession based football. The players can't execute the system. Find another method. Apart from those floated crosses, where does our attacks come from.

If we strip away all the other elements: owner, director, players.
Marti has not shown player and system development. Apart from blooding new players, it's hard to back what I have seen so far. We look disjointed, have no bite and character. The squad is much better than our current position.

3 down. Let's just play it around at the back. Put your foot on the ball, to show how composed you are.
I hate this football.
Bring back any type of football. Rather than this rubbish.

1. He is a fan
2. There need to be better communication

I am not a fan of what MC has produced. He talks a good game, and that's about it.
Very much a reactive personality.
I have no idea what they do in training. They all look like a individuals trying to understand each other on matchday.
With all the In's and Out's this season, owner, player power, Rudkin, sun and moon alignment. 2 wins in 11 games, is just not good enough.

Get him gone

Literally can't see what this guy offers.
I want Daka to play. That's how bad he is.

We had enough chances to put the game to bed but we are just not clinical enough.
Always knew they would get one chance and that's more or less what they had( apart from the crossbar shot).
We have one chance with the team selection starting line up to get a couple in front which is what we need because once our subs come on we look like a bottom 6 side.
James and Ramsey look decent.
Same old mistakes by the usual suspects( and I dont mean muslims, although Hamza was his usual dim self!
Night all..👍🏾
I know right. Can't trust the Muslims to do anything. Including the best attacking winger and defensive midfielder for Leicester.

That was awful to watch.
MC is a reactive manager. Doesn't lead, waits for opposition to show their hand, and adapts to the situation.
I can see how his teams take so long to gain momentum and form. International break, means we take a 2 steps back again.
Also, we do know how to make the opposition look good.

why do we persist in short sideways passing at the back rather than move the ball forward rapidly and then on the odd occasion we get close to the 18yd area we again pass it sideways, backwards..absolutely no desire to run to pull defenders out of position, hence no space...surely they work on quick transition during the week and creating gaps??? if not why not ffs
Because it's the only way to play football apparently.
There is no other system out there.
Apart from a side pass.
A foot on the ball.
Rely on wingers.

Marti talks about looking for goals. How was those substitutes going to help with that philosophy.

Better start today, and sometimes you have to take your hat off, and applaud that individual goal.
I was expecting us to ramp up play in the 2nd half, and we lost that edge.
I think we had about 2 or 3 shots on target. So we should look to understand why, and find ways to improve.
I know it's the modern game and all that, but I'd like us to get some through balls down the middle. I do miss the attacking midfield.
The ref was awful.

Leicester 2-1 Derby - Post Match

Win is a win.
That was a tough watch. I was using tooth picks to prop up the eyelids.
Any chance we can work on corners in training please. If we can't function as a team. Maybe we could start with adding a little spice to simple football. Kick ball to a tall defender. Head ball on target.
Great to see Silko, Monga and Paige work.
