It's just their 80s-00s badge basically isn't it? Better than what they've got now. Seen plenty of folk moaning it's following that cheap roundel trend (your Stevenages, your MKs, your Bristol Citys, your Alaveses) after Man City changed their badge in 2016 but it's not really jumping on a bandwagon if they're going back in time is it. Just jamming the dates in either side is a bit naff, clubs get a hard on for that for some reason.
If they just took the lion from that crest and had only that on a shirt it'd look class.
